Ignoring the small few weeks where the feud was interrupted by The Shield, John Cena has been feuding with The Wyatt Family since they cost him his World Title SINGLES match at the Rumble.

Cena vs The Odds is approaching it's 10th year. Cena is currently 97-3 against The Odds and this feud has shown no signs of slowing down.

Nope and I have no idea why, Bray's gotten no meaningful wins or advantages over Cena. Lucky for Bray, the crowd rightly loves his character and he'll recover from losing to Cena always. Cena killed off Umaga in the same way.
Forgive my choice of words about Cena killing off Umaga...

Nope and I have no idea why, Bray's gotten no meaningful wins or advantages over Cena. Lucky for Bray, the crowd rightly loves his character and he'll recover from losing to Cena always. Cena killed off Umaga in the same way. Forgive my choice of words about Cena killing off Umaga... Naw, Umaga stayed over post Cena. The feud with Lashely is what dragged him down before he got fired. I just don't see where Bray goes after the Cena feud. He's over but there isn't anyone I picturing him feuding with in the horizon. |

This feud has been a f***ing trainwreck. Talk about a storyline where everyone involved looks worse when it's over. Wyatt's momentum is going cold thanks to running into the LOLCENA wall that pretty much everyone in the company runs into. Cena got exposed because he feuded with the human embodiment of the Devil...and a good chunk of the crowds sided with the Devil. Not a good look for your top babyface. It's one thing to be controversial but when people are cheering pure evil over you, might be time to accept that you just aren't very likeable.

The only person on the roster who could still keep the fans on his side would be Bryan. WWE messed up by letting Bray speak too much truth and Cena being ah shucks in response. At this point, Bray could sacrifice 10 puppies in the ring while pissing on a blind mute and the crowd will still chant his name. |

Imagine an up and coming Undertaker in this day and age feuding with Cena. Paul Bearer would be eating AA's and STF's while Undertaker gets no sold by Cena.

It's pretty obvious that the point of this feud was to get Bray over as a cool heel and in that regard they succeeded. Simply looking at wins and losses just doesn't tell the whole story. |

I'm sick of it. The worst part is that Cena/Wyatt will happen at least 2 other times in the future. One time later on during the end of Cena's career and the other time when Cena eventually passes the torch (when he's about to retire and officially goes heel because they have a new "the guy") and he's going down the list of faces.

The problem with this feud, and pretty much every Cena feud, is there's really nothing at stake. For this feud to have any sort of intrigue, there had to be a chance that feuding with a man like Bray, would somehow inherently change who John Cena is as a character. And anyone with a lick of sense knows that's never going to happen. It's just guys spinning their wheels month after month. And when it's over Cena's still gonna be Cena and Bray will still be a crazy redneck cult leader. Truly a waste of time.
