I understand he'd be more than happy to but the WWE money is too good to walk away from.

Hoping badly that this is the last we'll see of him for a while. I think the intent is probably that he can always be brought back if they need to fill a major spot, or a gimmick battle royal, or a Legend type role, but with the ascension of the former Shield members into major solo spots and the sheer length of time Kane was a major fixture of the roster (almost SEVENTEEN YEARS OF KANE), I think it safe to assume he's done.

Sigh....yeah sad to say. One of my favorite big guys of all time but I think his time has come.
I don't see him going the jobber route on the way out so it might just be time for WWE to find a way to write him off for good.
Seriously the guy is 47 years old and he's still doing the every week grind in WWE. He should have just beeen a "special attratction" type the past year or 2 maybe. Keep him a bit fresher in the public's eyes.
Either way, yeah. Don't enjoy him on my screen anymore.

I thought he was retiring months ago when he started his insurance company, and yet he's been on more and more since then.

I don't care if WWE pushes new guys, but I want guys I still like to stick around And see...I on the other hand would like to see guys who have worn out their welcome a decade ago to get the f*** off my TV screen, such as Kane. Dude offers NOTHING to the product. Beat up a midcarder, lose to a main eventer. Beat up a midcarder, lose to a main eventer. Rinse. Repeat. Oh, but he's merciless and psychotic. So what? He'll still eat the pin. He's easily the stalest guy on the roster. He has only changed his shit up once during the last 10 years, and that was the Hell No stuff. Everything else is laughably pathetic. WWE is capable of creating new monsters so they don't need to rely on Glenn "I'm too enticed by the money, so I'll do whatever you want, Vince" Jacobs.

See, Corporate Kane could have been awesome if he was the sole authority figure, or at least had funny segments where he set staplers on fire and chokeslammed some guy in a cubicle, but going back to Masked Kane really ruined it all and feels really dumb and pointless. I can't take him seriously considering he hasn't one a single match with the mask again, and the poor guy's legacy in WWE will seemingly end on a sour note. He should have just left after Team Hell No ended and done so by putting Wyatt over. It would have been a better ending then the continuation we have now.

I don't know about retiring but he needs to be taken out of the spotlight and shuffled down to the Big Show level of attraction. Hell, make Show and Kane a new tag team (well, bring back their team) or give him a partner. He does great in limited work. Maybe have him bring in Ascension and act as their mouthpiece before they turn and beat him into retirement or something.

I don't understand why they're booking Kane this way. It's not like Kane can't be entertaining, him and Daniel Bryan were the best parts of the show during their Team Hell No phase. I don't know if it's because of See No Evil 2 and they just need him as a monster until that comes out or if it's something else, but it's really depressing to see him be used so poorly.

Ehh I still like Kane and the Big Show and Rey Mysterio and John Cena and HHH and Mark Henry and RVD and whoever else gets these kinds of threads.
You can't expect the show to cater to you and quite frankly these kinds of threads are getting tiresome.

Kane hasn't been relevant since the early 2000s. With the exception of Hell No, he's really just been...there. And I'd like him to stop being there. I mean, they won't give that TV time to develop anyone new, but f*** it, don't give me some bold faced lie where this motherf***er who's lost to just about everyone, and lost at WrestleMania in less than five minutes, is supposed to be a menace to anyone or anything.

Kane really doesn't.

Kane can still hold his own in multi-man matches, it's just when it comes to one on one scenarios that it really becomes apparent that Kane isn't very entertaining to watch anymore... well for me at least. All I want from him is to put Harper over as a new big monster, past that I hope he lives a wonderful live after he hangs up the boots.
