Just curious if anybody with any financial acumen has read it to see how much it holds up. Obviously he knows his stuff to a point considering he is one of the few wrestlers in WWE history who was able to become independently wealthy by good investments using his WWE salary. Just wonder if that translated well to his book though, since financial self-help books are a dime a dozen, especially with celebrity endorsements.

Not bad, but it's basically the same as all the other 'investment for beginners' books out there, with some wrestling stories thrown in.
If you're a big wrestling fan, you might like it. If your goal is just to get good investment advice, there are probably plenty of better books out there.

When I worked at Borders still we got him to sign all the copies when he and his (soon to be) wife came in. It was like the literal week he became JBL.

I haven't read it, but I'll presume he advises people to invest in sub-prime mortgages. It's a sure thing.

Because I'm sure there are a million cautionary tales about wrestlers just pissing their money away (Hell, there's a few cautionary tales throughout Foley's four memoirs and none of those are business/finance books!) that would apply for an investment book written by a wrestler.

Well, I remember one of the stories being about him randomly wrestling a bear, if that helps

Its not a get rich quick type book, it's more about just how to save money, avoid talking into debt, and how to get out of it if you are in debt -and with a lot of wrestling stories to drive the points home. It's not bad if you are not trying to be a Wall Street entrepreneur. I actually wish I had read it when I was in high school, would have avoided certain troubles.
