Its that time of year again to watch some guys in Indiana play video games for Child's play. For those that have not partook in watching before they play as many levels of the Mario games that have been unlocked by donations to the Child's Play charity. They take absolutely no cut from the donations and they all go directly to the charity. So not only are you helping kids get some much needed distractions while being in the hospital but you can also help torture some people into playing every level of Mario. www.mariomarathon.com/They have already unlocked 420/668 levels, so there is still alot of show left and time to donate.

Tuning in for the 4th year now. I'm after committing to donating $5 per goal scored in the World Cup during the marathon's run. France are 3-0 up at halftime, so I could have a big dent in my account come marathon's end.

I've been watching since the first. It's pretty amazing seeing this thing grow now and the kids on the stream grow up each year.

I'm never able to watch this as much as I'd like to when it's on.... but I'm glad they're doing this for another year and going strong!
Gonna tune in as much as I possibly can, and hopefully toss some cash their way as well.

Bumping this, hoping it'll get some more people their way.
That DDoS attack's put them way behind target.

They are still a long way from 100% Galaxy 2 so I think they got time to get back on target. If they are way behind once they start 3D World then I would start worrying. Donations seem to come in like crazy when they are getting to the end. Also switching between this and Summer Games Done Quick at the moment. It's like the Game Marathon Wars.

Second post.
That's the end of another Mario Marathon. Over $85,000 was made to go to Child's Play. Sadly they could not beat 3D World's Champion Road. :/

That champion's road. Maybe next year they can beat that devil.

Thats a fantastic number especially since they got that attack No idea why someone would want to take down a charity event but I'm glad thy were able to bounce back after that. The downtime really did nerf the donations for a good while. So happy they were able to beat the $500,000 combined mark. I know every Mario Marathon is the 'last' Mario Marathon but man, I really hope they're back again next year. Especially as I won't have to watch the same old boring ordinary stream with the rest of you lowly viewers FINALLY!
