The "YAH!" chants have made me like the Ascension.

Watching the tag match between them and Zayn/Kidd, I enjoyed it rather substantially more than I used to enjoy them simply because of the crowd chanting "YAH!" at Konor. Especially the "ONE MORE YAH!" when he had Zayn in the corner. So yeah, well done Full Sail crowd!

For me it wasn't so much the group as it was KONNOR being a GOOBOR.
Now you've got VIKTOR in there who is fine and KONNOR isn't such a goober anymore.

I know it's terribly cliché and I usually hate this type of attitude from others, but I honestly find it really hard to take Konnor seriously as some big scary gothic whatever-it-is-The-Ascension-are-supposed-to-be typed force, because whenever I see him, I instantly think of him following a trail of cheese with his nose and getting doused with 'rat spray' by Ricardo Rodriguez.

I think they kind of suck in the ring, but to me that's more how they are used. They should be in a lot more hardcore type matches to hide the fact that they aren't that great in the ring. But the look, theme, etc. is all great.

Konnor is benefiting a lot from WWE's current hoss shortage. Honestly, he and Viktor are not terrible by any means, they're just a bit bland in the ring.

Probably has more to do with the fact they have nothing but squash matches week in and week out. I've seen one and a half actual matches with them (the half being a Two Cool squash...at least they weren't unnamed jobbers).

And considering Bad News Barrett, Cesaro, and Luke Harper are (I'm guessing) all over six feet and three of the most popular guys around these parts, I don't think that argument holds much weight.

It's mostly that we're seeing them just squash people for months, without many interesting challengers, and without them even doing any particularly cool moves to make the squashes entertaining. They seem like they're more suited to solid psychology tag matches - they're not really good at powering their way to a quick victory impressively.

So tired of this argument. Like others have said, I'm not fond of them, but it has nothing to do with their size. I'm a big fan of Barrett, Ryback, Big E, Luke Harper, Lesnar, etc.

It's just that I think they're pretty boring in the ring, and I'm tired of seeing them in nothing but squash matches. Also I think their gimmick, if you can call it that, is kind of lame.

The Fall of Man is cool, though.

Ever since NXT Arrival, where they had their makeover, they've been a lot more fun to watch. Instead of being plodding and slow they've become a lot quicker and more aggressive which suits them a lot more.

They're still not great. But they're definitely getting better.
