Ass.
Also: she's okay in the ring, but she's nowhere near as good as people make her out to be. Naomi outshined her hard tonight.

More women from NXT. As good as Paige is, she can't turn around the Diva's division by herself.
Tonight's match was pretty good, though.

Could we maybe not do the sexist bullshit? Considering this DOES actually seem to be a thread about her booking and wrestling ability.
I think she's missing any sort of measurable personality. I don't think that's her fault at all. They just haven't given her any mic time, or an angle, or...anything. She's just sort of there with the title winning matches.
She's quite good, now let her be interesting.

All the wrestling ability she had in NXT. It's like as soon as women make it to Raw, they forget how to wrestle and have to spend years 'improving' again.

Try to keep it somewhat tasteful please.
Anyway, She needs a good finish, that lasts. The cradle DDT works for me but in the few months she's been on the main roster she's been through 3 and only the PTO has made it back-to-back matches.

There's nothing to care about with her or to get invested in. She's pale girl who screams and has matches -- no wonder fans don't care. The only female they have really cared for in the past couple of years has been AJ because they actually build a character for her and gave her important roles in the show. They've given people zero reason to care about the divas or the division itself.

If she could cut the screaming down, that'd be nice. For a girl whose supposed to be cheered to be screaming like a banshee is a bit much. Also, a little more edginess and unpredictable energy when she is given mic time, like on commentary, would be nice. If she's the anti-Diva I'd like to get the vibe from her that she says and does things differently in a way that's more risque than the norm.

They've given people zero reason to care about the divas or the division itself. Yep. If you give people a reason to care, they will care. If you just have people flounder, especially when they are in a division that has been little more than a pseudo-intermission for the past decade (the Divas match is usually seen as the piss break because that is how the WWE has presented it pretty much since Trish and Lita retired), then guess what? People won't give a shit. After the Raw after Mania, I was optimistic. I thought that having Paige debut then was an indication that the WWE was going to try to make sure that she would start off on the right foot, and that her reaction there would encourage WWE to actually treat the Divas division with respect. They have the talent already on the main roster to make a solid Divas division that people can get behind (just watch Paige and Emma in NXT), but they don't bother.

I don't think she was ever that good. She's about the same as ever, she's just been exposed hard because now everyone can see her matches instead of taking the word of people who watch NXT and were saying she was the second coming of Trish or whatever. Emma was the much better wrestler IMO and now she's MIA.

Just better booking. However even in Shimmer I never thought she was 'great' in the ring anyway.
On the main roster she's just "That chick who beat AJ and is now Divas Champion." There's nothing interesting about that.
Naomi and Cameron have a story, Layla and Summer Rae have a story, but the Divas Champion is just "Divas Champion" that's it, that's literally her story/character. That's boring.

To be fair she does have a storyline. She's a "rookie" and the other divas think her title win was a fluke and she isn't as good as people say. Paige's task has been proving the other divas wrong and if you thought her title win was a fluke, you better think again. The problem though is they don't really focus on that. Given the divas some mic time would at least help. They finally began emphasizing it for this match, but it needs to continue. Paige had a promo about this on WWE's youtube page and she showed great fire. If we had more of that on TV it would help. That is a great storyline and something that would benefit everyone, but WWE's not taking advantage of it.

A discernible character.
Right now, outside of 'new girl who's become champ', she doesn't have one at all.

I think she just needs a reason to be cheered. I think she's supposed to be on the good guy team, but nothing tells me that. Also seeing her try to clap hands today on the way to the ring was awkward.

My pen...cil skirt. It would look cute on her thought she would have to take it in a bit.

The rumor is {Spoiler}{Spoiler} She's turning heel tomorrow on RAW. So, if what I've heard isn't bullshit, and who knows anymore, my sources haven't exactly been batting 1000 lately, maybe that'll at least give her something new to work with.

She should be booked as the "Anti-Diva". She dances to the beat of her own drum, and is the oposite of someone like Summer Rae. You can do the whole bully storyline, where Summer picks on her, makes fun of her. It could tie into Total Divas.

I think her face character is sort of dead on the vine without the inevitable AJ feud. If they turn her heel instead of waiting around for Mrs. Punk, maybe we'll have something.
