Giants and Royals can clinch tonight w/a win. Pittsburgh can get to 1 game w/a win tonight against the Braves. They really missed an opportunity last night to get within a half game of the Cardinals.

Being a Mariner's fan sucks right now Yes it does, man. Yes it does. However, if this is what we can do without a decent clean-up...

Well it looks like yesterday will be the final home game for Jeter, as the forecast shows the rain won't be holding up anytime soon.

MLB said they're going to do everything they can to make sure tonight's game happens, so. If it's postponed, they still might play it on Monday if the Orioles are still fighting for the top seed, which can still happen. They're only 2.5 back from the Angels. O's have 4 games to play, Angels 3.

The top seed means the difference between playing the Royals or Oakland vs. having to go at Detroit. Royals and As can't score, I don't want to say it's the easier route to the ALCS, but its definitely not as daunting.

To me they're a different team than the one that was owning us back in the Spring.

Detroit's lineup is lethal and they seem to be getting good again at the right time. They're sorta like the Cardinals, stumble around in July and August before turning it on again in September and ride that wave into the World Series.

Robertson who is a free agent after the season may have just pitched his way out of New York with that inning.
