Couple of thoughts on the WS:
Royals have nothing to lose at this point. I know they want to win, but win or lose, it's a season that'll be remembered forever in KC.
The Giants OTOH have all the pressure on them. They're the potential dynasty, the October unbeatables.
San Fran has EVERYTHING to lose here- I mean, if Bochy loses to Yost...
Oh, and as for game 1? Bumgarner CANNOT afford to spit the bit, because I don't know if Peavy/Hudson are going to do what Cain did in their previous WS.

Ugh should have had more than 2 runs there. I think 5 runs should be enough to win though with MadBum on the mound.

Hopefully tonight's game and this postseason will serve as a coming-out party for Madison Bumgarner and he can start to receive some national recognition for what he is; one of a handful of pitchers that you could argue is the best in the game.

7-0 in the 7th. This game is a Royal asskicking.
I said Giants in 6 but I'm changing that prediction to a sweep.

For decades, the Giants were snakebitten heartbreaking chokers. Now, they're unbearable October unbeatables.

The Giants feel inevitable. It's almost impossible to see them ever losing in October as long as they get in.

Torii Hunter indicated Wednesday that he's leaning toward continuing his playing career in 2015. HOF? Probably not. His offensive stats are nice. Yes he has those gold gloves, but if you look just a bit deeper with today's metrics you see those probably weren't warrented. A good to very good player, not one I'd put in the HOF.
