Roman Reigns is pretty much as hot as he's ever been. How on earth do they intend to keep him hot until at least the end of January without giving him SOME sort of title? And then there's Brock Lesnar, who will show up once in a blue moon all the way till APRIL? And what about Seth Rollins? Surely they aren't REALLY going to have his case expire, right?
This whole LESNAR/REIGNS rumor doesn't seem like a slow burn, it seems like a dragon burn, as in they're going to have to DRAG the f*** out of it before pulling the trigger. And knowing WWE, I assume Roman's iron will be stone cold by Mania time.

Personally I'd just move the Reigns title win to earlier in the timeline, preferably before the Rumble. Make some of these other shows worth getting instead of getting everyone to hold out for WrestleMania every year.

Reigns vs Triple H pretty much has to get delayed to after SummerSlam, but I'm not sure what you'd do instead of that

Also, while I think Roman would make a serviceable WWE World Heavyweight Champion, I don't see him as someone who warrants a "WrestleMania Moment" to attain that achievement. |

Man it was Canada. Different cities react differently. Yeah Reigns is over but only because he's still riding the Shield coat tails. I don't think he can last long just playing the Shield gimmick alone.

I would to see him wear the all black khakis without the hot topic looking designs. He could ditch the vest/shirt if he would work on his abs more because he looks so pudgy I laugh when he stands next to guys like Rollins, Cena, Orton, and Sheamus. Also show some character and not grunt and throw one liners and hyperboles. Work on the move set, WWE's stance on "less is good, let the work horses do the heavy load" for their main eventers they manufacturer is dumb. Cena does more now, Orton is capable of more and Sheamus can do a lot, But it's like they are telling him play it safe and we'll help you get to the top in no time. Just like Orton in 03-04. |

I honestly think Ambrose is going to get the big push instead. Reigns will win the title, Rollins has the briefcase, but Ambrose will win the Rumble if he has to.
My guess is Reigns wins the title, Ambrose wins Rumble, Rollins cashes in on him at EC, Reigns enacts his rematch clause, Shield Triple Threat at WM31 with Ambrose pulling it off.

I agree with some people here and say they need to change his title win date. Have Reigns win the title at the Rumble. This isn't a Bryan situation where Bryan was being held back constantly. The push is already in action and people can see it so they don't want to wait this entire time. How many different feuds is he going to be in? It's just too much. Anyway, have Reigns beat Lesnar at the Rumble. Afterwards, have Ambrose win the Rumble. Seth will then decide to cash his briefcase in at WM making it a three-way for the title or cash his briefcase in before WM making him champion going in. Sets up a lot of potential situations as well depending on who wins. They can run off the Shield 3-man title hunt until the next WM if they need to.

Let Reigns *be* over without the damn title. He doesn't need it. He shouldn't even be IN the damn title picture right now. Let him be Mr. Perfect, Roddy Piper, Jake Roberts, or the Million Dollar Man for a bit. He doesn't need to be going for the title (and failing to win it like a certain RYBACK I could mention).
Maybe have HHH cost him the belt at the next PPV, setting up HHH/Reigns at Summerslam.
Stick him in a feud with somebody else (NOT KANE!) once that's finished.
Just because he's really over doesn't mean they should put the belt on him right away. This new title has some prestige. There have only been three people who can lay claim to that belt, Cena, Orton, and Daniel Bryan. We don't need to add Lesnar, Reigns, Rollins, etc to that list right away. Let him be over on his own *for an extended period of time*. If he STAYS over, then, yeah, make him the champ. If he CAN'T get/stay over...good thing you didn't put your freakin' title on him, isn't it?

Reigns is different from a Daniel Bryan- where people wanted it badly enough, but had reason to believe WWE was just toying with them, and it led to a fever pitch. By contrast, Reigns? Everyone inherently KNOWS Reigns is THE NEXT ONE right now. We all buy into Reigns as the NEXT ONE, and part and parcel of Reigns's coronation THE MAN in WWE is the crowning at Wrestlemania to begin Reigns's...uh...Reign. As such, NOT waiting until Wrestlemania is solely the "we know it's going to happen at Mania, BUT WE WANT IT NOW! NOW NOW NOW NOW NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW! NOW!"- and quite frankly, Daniel Bryan's proved a little delayed gratification to build it up to a crescendo for Wrestlemania is a good thing. Reigns is red hot now, but if it's the difference between "Next John Cena" at Wrestlemanai 31 and "Next Sheamus" at Battleground, I can wait. |

Does anybody else think that giving the title to Reigns only for him to just fall short against Lesnar would help Roman in the long term? Similar to how his last stand against the Wyatts at EC showed him off as a beast, have him do that against Lesnar only to just be overpowered late.

Everyone knows that Lesnar only wrestles for "dream matches" against "big stars", so just being in the ring with him is a rub... |
