Can we discuss this please because I just remembered this happened. My GOD the silence was deafening when he came out. Even that horrendous Bella/Fox popped the crowd more than he did. HELL, Adam Rose in his current decline gets better reactions than that. It was kind of eerie, almost pre-3MB Jinder at the Rumble-esque.

Sheamus' pop was just as bad. That was Charlie Haas levels of pop. Even a handshake/hug from Bret didn't get him a reaction.

The Miz wishes he was half as cool as "The Con Man" Rob Conway.

What happened to the whole Flair with Miz idea? Or is the idea to job Miz a while until Flair rehabs his image? Good grief, the guy jobbed to Jericho last night? Who jobs to Jericho in 2014? And what does it say that it seems like a waste of a 65 year old Flair to even put him with Miz, whose sell by date was 2011?

The first time they showed the Jericho/Miz graphic, the crowd popped big for Jericho and had good heat for Miz. The second time, equally as big of a pop for Jericho, but less heat for Miz. By match time, Jericho still got a huge pop and Miz was pretty much people just booing by obligation/politeness rather than because they actually wanted to.

Pretty sure Miz is ensured one Orgasm-Level Pop per appearence as long as Catch_Us is still alive.

It's because despite being a "Hollywood Heel" now, nothing has really changed at all about Miz. He's still wearing the same trunks/jacket and still has the same exact theme song, just with an awkward Rock-lite introduction.
It's the little things that help get a character change over - a pair of aviators isn't going to do it. Dude needs a total image refresh.

I like how WWE is promoting him as a big time Hollywood star when he has Z-list status in reality.

Gee, not giving people any reason to care about the guy for the 6 monts before he left can't possibly have anything to do with it.
Not to mention, he makes his return and promptly gets his ass completely handed to him 3 times in the span of a week.
I know it's cool to hate the Miz, but his booking has been atrocious

Last week was the most I was interested in him years but the moment he stepped through the curtain for his match it was as if nothing had changed... ...apart from adding a second-rate Tyler Breeze impression that was blatant gimmick infringement.

Jericho didn't get much of a pop during the match either.
I'm not saying Miz is over. He isn't. But the crowd was clearly just waiting for Bray Wyatt.

Everyone was just in awe of seeing a huge Hollywood star like The Miz.
I think they should play up his crowd reactions, in his delusional Hollywood character he thinks everyone loves him or is in awe of him.
*Note: I like The Miz*

I've had it with people lying about the "Conway Pop". The whole concept is an outright falsehood.
The truth is Rob Conway was the most over man in WWE history. Now, before you call for the men in white coats, hear me out:
The term "Conway Pop" has been used, for quite awhile now, to describe a reaction so small, that it's really not a reaction at all. The problem is, the man from whom the "Conway Pop" takes its name, was never a victim of the phenomenon. For how, I ask you, can a crowd give a reaction, when their jaws are agape in awe, when one hand is clutching their chest as the other cups their genitals?
"Just look at me"
So amazed were audiences, by this god of a man, that they did just that.

And once the bell rings, he's still AWFUL trying to work heel. Then he tries to be all slick and slap on the figure 4 real quick like he's AJ Styles or Ultimo Dragon, but he's Miz so it's just sort of halfway on. He's not effective enough in the ring to be a threat as a heel at all.

His hair style is still similar to last time he was there. Rock is a Hollywood star that has been in numerous movies whereas Miz has been in straight-to-video films (which isn't a bad thing). I like his in-ring work but his new character is more of the same. He's had the jet black gear for a while now. Not sure how he can be updated to a different look but maybe some bright gear like what Cody Rhodes or Del Rio wears. Idk, just something different.
