Yet people buy the shit out of it. I'll even buy it sometimes, but I have to load it down with spices, and shredded cheeses for it to be edible. I assume people mostly buy it for kids, but even as a kid the stuff tasted repulsive to me. I just don't see how people can eat the stuff without loading it down. Yeah it's cheap, but so are many other foods that don't taste like ass.

Agreed and you can read my thread about shameful groceries for other such examples. Although I do still buy the overstuffed raviolis now and again which is pretty much the only item of there's I'll ever buy.

What Ramen is for everybody else, Chef Boyardee is for me. I think it's okay, but when you are broke, they can come in handy.
I love Ramen as well, so.

I found them gross even as kid. Possibly because I was so used to regular spaghetti. I was at a friend's house and tried some. I felt betrayed by all the cartoon characters acting like it was the greatest shit ever.

They were okay for the most part. I do remember that I used to love ABCs and 123s with Meatballs. Not too sure why, but I ate them quite often a few years back. Also the Dinosaurs before they got discontinued.
The Beefaroni was also pretty decent. But I haven't ate any Chef Boyardee stuff in years.

Agreed. Though Hector Boiardi did than anyone else to bring southern Italian cuisine west of the Hudson River. So I think his name should get a legacy pass.

I don't know what it is but maybe once or twice a year I get a craving for the ravioli and pick up a can. Same thing with Kraft Spaghetti in the green box.
