Considering that TNA is supposedly averaging like 15,000-20,000, I'd say that's pretty damn good for a PPV debut.

In comparison TNA slammiversary got around 15,000 buys.

Pretty good for a first PPV. They made more than they expected, so well done, ROH.

That is better then your average TNA pay per view. Good job.

I try to not give a damn about the business side of wrestling, but I really want more ROH ppv's. Great news.

Around what I expected and damned good for having no advertising behind it. If all goes well going into Final Battle they could shock a lot of people.

Really good news. It was a really fun show. ROH deserves it for turning their product back around.
I'd love to be live at the next one (assuming it's Final Battle in New York).

Wasn't this put together basically at the last minute with virtually no advertising? That is very impressive. If ROH had a better TV deal, they could probably give TNA a run for their money as #2 with these kind of numbers.

Pretty good considering my first reaction to the thread title was
"What? Those old taped PPVs?"

If ROH had a better TV deal, they could probably give TNA a run for their money as #2 with these kind of numbers. Apparently, PPV providers only started to run advertising for the PPV 24 hours before Best In The World. Those same providers have apologized to ROH since so I guess we should see more advertising for the next one, which potentially means more buys.

I also want to point out that Best in the World isn't carried in the OnDemand 24/7 section of most cable outlets, so those 10,000 buys all had to come from scheduled airings of the show and not just whenever the viewer wanted.

I know I was planning on ordering it, but completely forgot the night of. Good to see it did decent numbers.

This is a really good sign for ROH. At the very least, they are much better at getting their fans to pay for the product than TNA is.
