I might be getting a data plan that limits my data usage to around, 20Gb, maybe less, does anyone have any info on how much data some of the shows on the Network contain? Like, whats the size of a regular two and a half hour show in HD or whatever resolution is used on the site?

20GB? Are you sure about that? Because that's insanely low.
A regular two and a half hour show at 720p on the Network is around ~4-5GB.

It happens, I'm currently paying a decent chunk of change for 10 GB, because it's the best that's offered without paying an absolute ludicrous amount of money. Needless to say, I was the Network at odd hours of the morning when it's not counted against my total.

over all don't get a data plan. Data plans are for grandmas. Unfortunately certain states only have coverage from providers that have -over the last year or so- changed their old no-limit plans to limited plans, as a means of saying 'look, no one uses over 300GB a month*! That's baffling!' in order to screw people out of money who actually do use a lot of bandwith. It's another microtransaction in a world of microtransactions 'have 5/10/20 more GB for ONLY $20 more a month!' and all the similar horrible junk, and many of us can't justifiably fling another $60+ a month on making them unlimited plans again (and some companies don't even offer that any more), so many people are stuck between a rock and a hard place. * Comcast introduced that sort of thing last time I was inbetween the States/UK, seemed to affect a ton of places in the Eastern US and by now I'm sure this has expanded to other parts of the US.

1 gig for every hour basically. over all don't get a data plan. Data plans are for grandmas. Your first post is flat out wrong while your second is just ignorant. At 720p you'd be averaging 2GB per hour streaming. Data Plans are, unfortunately, not just for grandmas either. In fact they'd be happier with unlimited since slower internet speeds where they don't have to keep tabs on how much they've used would probably suit them better. Where I'm at, and a few places I've traveled to, you get the option for unlimited data for certain plans but those are always moderated during peak hours causing your speed to drop considerably during set times. I'd rather pay for the Data Plan that suits me and my wallet best than not be able to stream a 720p video evenings and weekends. For example, my ISP has two options at the same price: one is Unlimited (with moderation) and the other is 160GB (you have the option of your internet going down to moderated speeds or being billed in 1GB lots if you go over).

But clear 720p happens only sometimes. I don't think I've ever had a WWE network experience that was clear the whole viewing period. The dips in quality would probably to be accounted for . Also, I did once watch an hour of WWE on my tablet and I looked that the data measurement, and it was a little over 1 gb that I used. My second point was more of a joke... If you are watching a lot of video online a 2gb0 data plan is not really something you should reasonably be considering. I mean the fact he's considering buying a video service a data plan is going to be more of a pain than a bargain. I used to sell internet services on the phone, and basically the lower plans with caps were basically for people who all they did was just check email, and occasionally facebook. Who only uses the internet for just e-mail and facebook? Old people...

Also one last comment on the 720p
also most of the network content is not even in hd it's sd... which you are talking even less in terms of data.

The absolute best I could get in the area is spending 129.99 a month for 25 gigs. I also have an option for 10 gigs (Which I currently use) and 15 gigs. I can buy additional gigs for 10 dollars per gig. So yeah, high speed unlimited internet is not available to people in all areas and people who have it should be happy that they do.

I have AT&T DSL with a data limit of 150gb a month, and my bill has gone up $30 with overage charges ($10 per 50gb) every month since I've had the WWE network.
And aside from the monthly PPV's, Main Event, and NXT I don't even watch it that much...

You're either getting overcharged like crazy or something else has changed. If you pay $10 for an extra 50GB and you're saying the only difference in your usage is WWE network that means you're using 150GB of just WWE streaming... which would be insane. Not impossible, but a hell of a lot more than just PPVs, ME and NXT. Even if we figure you're watching everything in seamless 720p you'd only be using about 25-30GB per month watching a 4hr PPV(with pre-shows), 5 NXTs and 5 Main Events... You're using 6x that.

Yeah, I thought it seemed unlikely too. So I called last month and they took it off my bill right away but tried like hell to get me to switch over from DSL to U-Verse (where there's a 250gb limit..). Then this month's bill came in with an identical charge... Nothing's changed with my internet usage in the years I've had the same plan, aside from getting the WWE network.

Do you normally stream stuff in 720p? 480p? 360p? (I'm unsure of their options)

Nearest I can figure you'd need to watch 3-6 hours of WWE network every day (depending on the quality) to come close to the usage for which you're being billed. If that doesn't sound right you might want to look into downloading a program to keep tabs on your bandwidth usage.
