Exploiting the invasion of Kuwait and following invasion/war of Iraq. If that's not the most deplorable, offensive thing they've done, I don't know what is.

Turning Hassan into a terrorist was bad, the Davari martyr segment was worse and I believe the American broadcast still showed it shortly after the 7/7 London bombings. I was just about to mention that. I will admit that I liked his character before with him being oppressed for being Arab-American because of the whole 9/11 thing and being angry about it. In a way, I could sympathize with his character, but then came when creative changed him into something he was against being oppressed of.

The Chaz domestic violence angle is pretty darn far up the list.
First off domestic violence angles really can't go anywhere good...ever. Second, what a terrible lesson to teach young fans. If a woman claims that they are being abused by their boyfriend, they are probably just faking because they are bored.
Keep in mind that this is right around the time that WWE did business with/paid money to John Wayne Bobbitt who is remembered for getting his penis chopped off, but not remembered enough for being allegedly physically/sexually/emotionally abusive toward his wife leading her to cut off said penis.

Any outright bullying from a babyface always makes me angrier then just about anything else in WWE, just cos of the example it's setting to kids. Particularly not-in-the-slightest-bit-out-of-shape women like Molly and Vickie getting every fat joke under the sun thrown at them by the 'good' guys (not that it would be excusable if they were actually overweight, of course). It's ten times worse than anything like Piggie James or the Bellas and Kharma where the bullies were clearly positioned as in the wrong. Thank God that Be A Star seems to have finally put a stop to that, at least in as overt a manner as it used to be. Yeah, that one pissed me off royally. Back when Trish was making those "jokes" at Molly's expense, if given a shot with any diva at the time I would have chosen Molly Holly every day and twice on Sundays. Not only was she not remotely fat, she was damned near perfect. The same for Mickie James at the time of the Piggy James crap, though at least the writers expected that to give Laycool heel heat.

It also doesn't help the fact that Trish herself had plenty of junk in the trunk. In a way, Molly Holly was a bigger babyface than Trish was in that feud. At least Molly beat Trish clean at KOTR 2002.

Man, WWE treated Zach Gowen like shit. Here are the indignities Zach suffered while Vince McMahon was his boss:
(edited from Wikipedia) Zach Gowen made his WWE debut on the May 15, 2003 episode of SmackDown! as a planted fan in the audience, who attempted to help Mr. America when he was being attacked by Roddy Piper and Sean O'Haire. During the segment, Piper pulled off Gowen's prosthetic leg.
On the June 26 episode of SmackDown!, McMahon told Gowen that if he would join his "Kiss My Ass Club", he would be awarded a WWE contract. Instead Gowen attacked McMahon.
As a result, Gowen and Stephanie McMahon were put in a match against The Big Show, in what McMahon billed as the first "real" handicap match (referring to Gowen and his amputee status in addition to the two vs. one parameters of the match).
Gowen then lost several singles matches to wrestlers including Shannon Moore, Nunzio, and John Cena, with Gowen being attacked by Matt Hardy, Moore's mentor, following each loss.
On the August 21 episode of SmackDown, Gowen defeated Brock Lesnar by disqualification after Lesnar broke Gowen's leg in storyline. The following week, Lesnar threw Gowen down a flight of stairs.
On the October 23 episode of SmackDown, Gowen lost to Tajiri in a singles match, and afterward was attacked by two of Tajiri's associates. Gowen did not return to WWE television due to suffering an injury, and was later released from his WWE contract on February 4, 2004.

Sorry, but I think it's not stopping the show after Owen Hart's tragic fall at Over the Edge. I know people have strong feelings about this, but this still bothers me so much to this day.

The ones that involved real tragedy (Edde, Pillman etc.) are generally the worst ones. But as bad as Vince has been, he is not even in the same universe as Fritz Von Erich.

For me, the stupidest thing they ever did was Stephanie's post 9/11 speech wherein she compared her daddy potentially going to (white collar) prison (for a crime he likely committed) to hundreds of people losing their lives in a terrorist assault. By far the most idiotic, living in an isolated bubble thing ever uttered in wrestling history.

Katie Vick. It made me so uncomfortable that I questioned why I still watched wrestling. I'm still baffled by the fact that Vince Russo was no where near this angle.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzz2n9xC8psStephanie McMahon comparing 9/11 to Vince's steroids trials. The other stuff was bad but this is like next level offensive. I understand how you people who had your city covered in debris and still don't know where you're loved ones are or even if they are alive, because my daddy had to go to court and his good carnie name got drug through the mud. Sean beat me too it while I was looking up the clip to see if it was still as offensive in hindsight. YUP! it is.

I still say the HHH vs. Booker T racism angle. Even if Booker had won, it was still crap that should not have been on t.v.

Muhammad Hassan. At first it looked like one of the smartest gimmicks ever (Arab-American angry because Americans would not accept him as one of their own after 9/11).
Then creative said, "f*** it. Let's just make him a terrorist."

Eddiesploitation irked me, but it never really bothered me, mainly because that's the kind of thing I expect from wrestling. Same as some of the more carny angles the WWE's taken over the years (Katie Vick, "I choppy your pee pee," etc.) But as often as it's been mentioned, the Booker T angle still gets my craw. It went against the laws of decency, which is fair in wrestling - until they went against the laws of wrestling as well. Triple H made Booker T out to be a clown, a nappy-haired entertainer who was only good for fetching towels for change, and at WrestleMania, he was proven right when Booker T couldn't measure up. If THAT'S the angle you're gonna take with a storyline, there's no reason the face shouldn't win, and decisively.

The more I think about it, I think "Stand Up for WWE" is the most offensive, insulting thing they've ever done.

The more I think about it, I think "Stand Up for WWE" is the most offensive, insulting thing they've ever done. Why exactly is it offensive? All it really was trying to paint the company in a positive light. I think people had the misconception that it was some kind of "Vote for Linda McMahon" political thing due to the timing when it really wasn't.
