So it clearly wasn't very popular here, but I enjoyed the little back and forth segment after the AJ/Eva match.
First, people saying Paige can't talk...I mean I honestly had never heard a promo from her really even though I enjoyed her ring work in NXt. I thought she did fine on commentary. It felt different and fresh. She's a twenty year old girl. She didn't sound like an airhead, but just like the modern twenty-something that was pushing back at grumpy (relatively)old man JBL. I don't think that's a bad thing. Don't get me wrong, I love a great Piper or Heyman promo. This doesn't need to be that though. Sure the catty diva thing has been done before, but as I said, the way they framed it here, it felt fresh.
It was weird that they did it at the commentary booth out of earshot of the live crowd, but maybe Vince/Hunter (I have a feeling Hunter is going to bat for Paige since she has been struggling without direction) figured the Richmond crowd was pretty much dead for everything else, so they didn't need to play to them for that segment.
Now one interesting segment does not a good feud make, so creative has to now...get creative. However, I thought the segment overall was far from the train wreck SOME people on here made it sound like.

I like the development from tonight it is starting to make more sense in a who is gonna blink first kind of way instead of the assumed Paige is just stringing AJ along like a dummy , now it seems like AJ is fully aware that Paige is biding her time and AJ is purposefully playing along and almost daring her to finally snap.

This was the change in Paige's character, this expression here. Sunday should be good.

People are just angry over Paige's entire run and how Vince is upset with her
Personally that segment was something that gave me a little hope for this feud

I'd probably be more interested in this feud if I had any interest in either of these chicks.

I thought it was good and funny. I think AJ is one of the best at getting her storylines over, especially in the short amount of time Divas get each week. I thought her sitting on the table and essentially have a phone conversation with Paige was cute and a good idea for those two's feud.

They're fighting like most women generally do: passive aggressively. ...Renee? That you?

The premise is ok, it was just really awkwardly done. It seems like if they'd done a little more of the fake 'respect/friendliness' stuff say last week, it'd have been built better.

Didn't they do this same exact shit for Maryse/Gail Kim with the HORRENDOUS payoff of OH MY GOD GAIL KIM CAN UNDERSTAND FRENCH?

It wasn't like here were they're trying to be sort of subtle about it. Similar to Big Show turning heel in 2012, except Maryse was already a heel so it made no sense

Definitely enjoyed the interaction. You can tell they don't trust each other from the awkward exchange. Paige did pretty well on commentary. I liked the little moment between her and Cole;
(AJ does the Black Widow)
Cole: you might need to learn how to escape that.
Paige: I already did on my debut *winks*
That was cool. She made Cole...
....
Wait for it...
......
THINK AGAIN!

Yep this whole thing is far too rushed, in theory it should be like seeing how the Eddie and Batista angle would have played out but I assume they'll blow their load on Sunday.

They're doing what women do when they're really pissed off and you know it but they claim they're okay, like when you piss off your wife/girlfriend/mother.
And it scares me.

Personally, I love that WWE are ripping off the current SHIMMER angle with Madison Eagles (who I guess AJ is playing) and Nicole Matthews (played here by Paige)... but they're not doing it quite so hilariously or well. Once Paige challenges AJ to a match whilst (a) knowing AJ is injured, and (b) having personally driven her to the hospital, THEN we know it's the influence.
