Does anyone else feel that the hype for this has been, I don't want to say lazy, but uninspired? Don't get me wrong the card looks decent and I shall be watching for sure. It could turn out to be a really good one (not as good as last years, but of course that was my and many others WWE PPV of the year...) I just wouldn't have minded a bit more effort put into Brock/Cena in a way, a few more face to face interactions etc. I am looking forward to Rollins/Ambrose no matter what the stipulation is, Wyatt/Jericho and a couple of others but I just feel it had the potential to be so much more this year and they are relying on the PPV/ Cena vs Brock both on name alone to sell it. I don't know.... Well, the best-booked match is Stephanie McMahon versus Brie Bella, so who could blame you?

Cesaro vs. RVD is the preshow match according to WWE.com. I'd guess Cesaro wins and that it is RVD's last match for at least awhile.

Should be a good show but yeah, I don't get hype for WWE PPVs nowadays. More often than not, it feels like a Raw I had to pay NINE NINETY-NINE to see.

Cesaro and RVD have both won SummerSlam kickoff matches in the past two years... This will determine who is the ultimate summer kickoff champion.

So Cesaro, who was super over earlier this year and had a big maina moment when he won the Battle Royal, has now been reduced to doing a pre show with zero build against RVD? Nice job WWE.

Remember when Cesaro & RVD faced each other on PPV earlier this year?

If they want to make the future interesting, Lesnar should destroy Cena. He's "overcome the odds" so much now that it's a joke when the announcers say it. For once, have him fail. Let it rattle his confidence. He's never going to turn heel, so this would be a great way to knock him down a bit, while endearing him to his core group of fans and giving the older crowd what they want. In short, Lesnar winning really is Best for Business.

I don't know.... They're probably holding off on putting in any actual effort or intensity until the Night of Champions build since they need to sell it more. So Cesaro, who was super over earlier this year and had a big maina moment when he won the Battle Royal, has now been reduced to doing a pre show with zero build against RVD? Nice job WWE. To be fair, Ambrose was in the pre-show last year and Rollins and Reigns weren't even booked, they just flanked him. Though the Shield was still, y'know, credible, which is more than can be said for Cesaro.

After all, the next night, the Shield got shifted into being associated with the Authority to kick off that angle.

Really only excited to see how the write Ambrose out of programming. And that's basically it. They ruined the match by making it a Lumberjack match. Lesnar vs Cena can be good if there's some blood in the match to go along with the video package that actually showed that Brock can f**k Cena up. And the interviews they did, I think blood is needed to make it look somewhat legit.

Okay, made the mistake of watching that Cena / Lesnar hype documentary, and I've gone from, "I might as well watch the show if I have nothing going on," to, "I desperately want to see Lesnar rip Cena's head off and eat it."

There's something I just realized, every single match on the card is a 1 on 1 match. No tag matches, triple threats, fatal 4 ways, etc. When's the last time, if ever, that that happened for a WWF/E ppv?

Only the un-aired dark match (Santino/Kozlov v Slater/Gabriel) was a non-singles match.

Whoever made the choice to pair Cesaro with Heyman should be hung from a tree.... by his leg. I wouldn't want to wish death on to anyone.
