After a lot of things got great reactions over the last few weeks, the crowd sucked tonight. They weren't hot for anything that other Raw crowds would have been, which made Swagger/Rusev and the main event not as good as they could have been. The second they started chanting "Daniel Bryan" in the middle of the main event, which was about to get into the next gear at that point, I got really annoyed. There was no need for it but it didn't surprise me to see another pay-per-view crowd of this caliber.

They were really hot for the First Match, but then when they realized Rollins vs Ambrose was not happening they just died and never recovered fully.
Then when Miz won they just totally checked out.

They were given nothing so they gave nothing. Seems fair to me.

They were REALLY into the opening match. Which again is a case of the E blowing their quality load way too early in a card

They were into the opening match, then to a lesser extent the Divas match but after that that, downhill.

So glad the crowd shit all over the shit show. Tonight was atrocious after the opener and the crowd knew it. I even heard a Daniel Bryan chant in the main event. It's a shame he's never coming back.

Pretty much this. They were hot for Roman some in the main event, but I think that like MITB it was so predictable that Cena was winning that it was hard for them to get into it.

Well then at what point can a crowd get blamed for ruining a show? We had a bunch of decent matches, most of which did not have enough crowd support. The one that did everyone's talking about as great. Imagine if you had a deadish crowd for that match, no one would be talking about it as highly. The fact that the Raw crowds from the past month were really hot for everything, only for this crowd to be back to what I call their usual selves to me says that the show would have been looked better if they held the show somewhere else that would have given a shit.
And the Rollins/Ambrose thing to me also implies that they still wouldn't have cared for the other matches since they'd have gotten the one they wanted to see and could then stop caring too

They tease Ambrose/Roolins with a video package, what happens? They cancel it. They tease Ziggler (fan favorite) winning the IC title, what happens? Miz (aka Mr. No damns giving about by any crowd) wins. They end Swagger/Rusev with a count out. Boring, can-be-seen-from-miilion-miles-win main event. We're basically back to December-January. WWE have no one to blame but themselves.

The crowd was fine. The show itself killed them. You can see how hot they are for the opening tag and the Ambrose-Rollins segment and even the Divas match and say they were a bad crowd. It was a bad show that killed the crowd.

And what the f*** else are they supposed to do with the main event? Have Reigns win and drop it to Cena the next night? Have Rollins cash in when he's nowhere near ready to be WWE Champion? And Miz eliminating Ziggler is supposed to get heat by making the crowd think their guy won, only to have the guy they hate most win. Not WWE's fault that the crowd chose to not give a shit rather than boo. A different crowd with this same pay-per-view and we wouldn't have people talking about it being terrible, when hell I don't even consider it to have been terrible to begin with. Not the best, but not terrible.

Not the best, but not terrible. They could've had Rusev lose by Count out, have Lana drag him because Swagger has his "number" or something like that. I'm fine with Cena keeping the title (i didn't have high expectations for the match anyways) but why didn't Brock show up and beat up Cena? Isn't he plan B, C or whatever? And about the Miz. Problem is, no one cares. He doesn't get any heat. If they gave it to someone like Bo, then yeah, he would get heat. And they shouldn't have advertised the Ambrose/Rollins if they didn't want to do it. I knew Battleground was going to have some bullshit. Because some of the matches announced were for Summer Slam instead.

People would've probably been upset if Sheamus won but there would at least be boos. Hell, Heath Slater got a reaction when he eliminated Cesaro, even if it was a WTF moment.

I heard one dude shout during the Rollins/Ambrose scuffle "I paid a lot of money to be here!"
The crowd paid to see the match and didn't get it. Cancelling the match pretty much took most of the wind out of their sails.

The Usos/Wyatts stole the show as soon as the PPV started and even the announcers mentioned that, it was the company's fault for doing this. Overall besides bad booking, they gave us no reason to watch this.

WWE crowds are no different than anywhere else. If the product sucks, why are you going to invest your energy? When Brazil was getting curb stomped by Germany in the World Cup did you see a happy crowd? No.
I'm tired of people thinking that every RAW or PPV is going to sound like Hammerstein.
