Shit from reading just "Benoit" in the title, I thought they were gonna do an angle of papa shango raising the dead. From reading Jericho's second book, Daniel was a huge fan and loved wrestling, I hope he continues to pursue his dream, and eventually forms the new radicalz with Shaul Guerero and Dominick Mysterio, have Dean Malenko in a mentor's role like Peppy Hare from Star Fox. That just sounds terrible.

That might be one of the few angles that would actually get me to stop watching wrestling forever. Lol I think the whole arena would just walk away, the stock would even plummet, I know Shaul is a wrestler (Raquel Diaz) I want to see her work a match with David just out of morbid curiosity.

To me, David Benoit getting involved in the wrestling business is like if Frances Bean Cobain said "I think I'll try out this whole sex, drugs and rock n roll lifestyle. What's the worst thing that could happen?"

What's the worst thing that could happen?" Or indeed, it could turn out like Peaches Geldof actually did. Also, did the OP deliberately just put 'Benoit' rather than specific who we were referring to just to f*** with people? I don't know how much space a thread title has but it was just an... odd choice.

When the f*** did that happen?"

There is no guarantee David Benoit knew what Smith Hart was saying to people though. Benoit knew that Hart posted the following to FACEBOOK: "CHAVO will be making his debut and along side a young and very energetic soon to be recognized talent of 'David BENOIT' ... Yes you heard that correct - 'David BENOIT!'" Benoit also knew that he was untrained, obviously. I'm not saying we crucify the kid. I'm saying don't hold him accountable for his father's acts but DO hold him accountable for his own. If you truly want to treat him outside of the shadow of his last name do so by realizing that he was in the wrong to some degree. He might have been untrained but who knows what the match was going to be like. There could be a chance he would pull a pac man jones and not ever get hit

I'm over arguing about it though, at this point you guys are either defending Smith Hart for some reason or defending David out of pure pity or misplaced optimism.
