Eli can't do any worse then last season......he said knowing he'll be quoted after the giants go winless.

So how serious is the relocation threat for Buffalo? Hopefully the NFL does the right thing and chooses an owner that will keep the Bills in Buffalo. VERY serious. We have an ironclad contract for the next 5 years that Big Show would be jealous of but after that, the penalty for the new owners drop significantly. The Bon Jovi led group is the main threat. They repeatedly said they won't move the team to Toronto like us Buffalonians are afraid of (including Bon Jovi putting out a letter in the newspaper today) while at the same time hiring a firm to scout locations for a football stadium in Toronto. Basically they're lying to our faces and if they get the team, football in Buffalo (well, technically Orchard Park) will be on borrowed time

Eli can't do any worse then last season......he said knowing he'll be quoted after the giants go winless. Watching the Giants the past few years, one of three things are going to happen
They will start out great and hit a wall and finish 9-7
They will start out AWFUL, but get a run the second half of the year and finish 8-8
Or they will suck the entire year, but I don't see them losing more than 10 games at the worst this year if that is the scenario.
The Giants are a very unpredictable team, have been for years. They can be really good, and look really ugly in the same season, sometimes per week. We'll see if that trend continues.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Bears backup QB Jimmy Clausen "seemingly hasn't had a bad day all training camp."
The Miami Herald believes Daniel Thomas remains on the roster bubble entering the preseason.

As for Thomas, he just never broke out. Mediocre Player who I wasted a Fantasy Draft Pick on, averaged like 1.2 Yds per carry. If Miami cuts him, I don't even know if a team will take a chance on him unless they are really starved at the RB position.

The Colts traded a 1st round pick for a guy that did little better than that and his top competition for the starting job is out for the season for the second season in a row. Is that starved enough at the RB position?

Is that starved enough at the RB position? Could be yeah. At least the Colts have Luck, but if I'm not mistaken they had one of the worst Rush Offenses last year despite making the Playoffs. There were a couple of reasons for that. First, other than the two tackles the offensive line is the drizzling shits and the attempts to upgrade did not work out as far as I can tell (Seriously, they sign a guy who retires a couple of weeks later. WTF??!!). Second, both Ballard and Bradshaw went down early leaving the load for Richardson and Brown. Richardson was too tentative behind that line and did not make his breaks quickly enough either because he did not learn the system quickly enough or he just isn't worth what was given up to get him. Brown is a good change of pace HB but really isn't an every down kind of player and is on another team now anyways.

Well MGH got to it before I posted, and instead of the link I accidentally put it as a video. I guess that horrible performance of mine in my original post is mimicking Andy Dalton's playoff performances.
Now granted a part of that is the play calling, but he's made horrible decisions. Also, if Dalton gets that, Luck is going to be getting $200 million.

Luck, Wilson, and RG3 are celebrating in the streets.
So what I have to look forward to for the next few years is a fantastic regular season and a Wildcard round flame out. Sigh.

There's still AJ Green, so at least that's something good. I do wonder if the Bengals know that like in the NBA, the cap is about to explode.

Thomas's big issue is he can't pick up a blitz to save his life. Lamar Miller has had a good camp and is improving as a blocker (and has gone out of his way to get help in the offseason), Miami signed Knowshon Moreno, and guys like Mike Gilleslee and Damien Williams are having really good camps. If Thomas doesn't have a good preseason he's gone IMO.

Bengals just signed Dalton for 6-years, $115 Million. I am livid. In the NFL, the only thing that matters are the guaranteed dollars, and those figures have yet to be disclosed. When the guaranteed money is made public, I can assure you it won't be close to $115 million, just as I can assure you that Andy Dalton won't see anything near $115 million by the time that contract expires. According to Pro Football Talk, Dalton's contract includes a $12 million signing bonus and a $5 million roster bonus. That's the only real money we know so far.

Yeah, it's way too early to judge this contract as good or bad before we know the guaranteed money.
The one positive is that Cincy is secure at quarterback for the next few years. Unless a stud comes up through the draft or you luck into a ridiculous free agent signing, it's hard to replace someone like Andy Dalton. Yeah, he bombs out hard in the postseason, but he's good enough to get you there and it's hard enough to find a QB that reliable in the regular season.

Bears WR Marquess Wilson suffered a fractured clavicle during Monday's training camp practice.
And for Dalton The guaranteed money is just $17 million
