So, the Wolves. Just two guys who Morgan could have easily destroyed?

That was a great way to end the season. I'm invested in wanting to see the next season. No one died that left me scarred for hours.

They did a great job at building tension all episode long. Given how frequently they kill off characters, it was a pleasant surprise to see the group make it through the finale.
We're supposed to think that Michonne has the hots for Rick, right?
Glen got fingered by that dude...and forgave him.

I have no idea why but I bust out laughing when Glenn got shot, it was a good finale. I am glad Morgan was trained by Master Splinter in his time away. I am so going to ship Morgan and Rick

What does 'ship' mean? I see it a lot but don't get it.

What does 'ship' mean? I see it a lot but don't get it. I believe it's short for relationship. Basically, it's who you want to see get together.

I reviewed the finale for the main site. www.freakinawesomenetwork.net/2015/03/the-walking-dead-s5e16-conquer/I enjoyed it although I wasn't a huge fan of how quickly the tensions seemed to be resolved at the end after so much build-up. We'll see how it pans out next season. Altogether though this has easily been the best season yet for this show!

No offense to anyone here, because I know you didn't come up with the idea, but wow...does everything have to have some kind of shorthand slang now?

"ship" is now right up there with "adorbs", "sympy" and "bae" in terms of words that make me cringe.

Okie dokie, not a bad finale - nice to see Morgan wasn't chopped up last week, and kicking wolves arse..what ashame he didn't kill them - no deaths in the main group like I thought there would be - Gabriel being a f***ing idiot leaving the gate open..what a moron. - Daryls chain kill was mega sweet. - good to see that arsehole get killed. So yeah overall I have enjoyed Season 5, I think I liked the 2nd half slightly better. So in Season 6 - hoping wolves angle won't last too long. - I suspect Paul a.k.a Jesus will make his debut - We will see the Hilltop group for the first time. - Dont think Negan will show up in Season 6, however I do suspect we will get our first hints of he's existence. - who will die?, no idea? So yes..sad now that I have to wait 7 months for more Walking Dead, but oh well. Think I will have to go on a we marathon somepoint

Good finale but... I have to question the logic in showing us who I assume is next seasons villain already getting their ass kicked by Morgan. It kinda diminishes the threat if they're just two losers who have already gotten beat up by one man. Should have just skipped the scene with Morgan and The Wolves out so there was more tension for the Wolves trap and to better build up the threat for next season. Comic spoilers ahead {Spoiler}I'm assuming The Wolves are going to take the place of the The Scavengers and are going to end up being responsible for the No Way Out storyline with their truck loads of zombies.

Sunday's 90-minute season ender broke a series record and drew nearly 16 million viewers.

Holy smokes.
The spinoff is going to have Cliff Curtis in it! I'm definitely on board now.
Regarding the season finale. I've got to give them props for the amazing tension build they sprinkled in across different characters' stories. The pacing was so on point!
But that last scene was a moment 5 years in the making. How many shows can really come full circle with some kind of resolution after that long? Amazing moment in TV history and in a rare case, one that was proprotionally rewarded with the viewer turnout.
