Could this be the {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Alexandria Safe Zone already? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I don't think so. I do think they get to the ASZ by the end of this season though. Slabtown is apparently an old part of Atlanta. I read that this is Beth's location from the trailer where she's in the hospital scrubs. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Ah, good call. I'm hoping they don't run into so many new groups this season. We just had Woodbury not long ago, then the Governor's new group, Joe's group, the Termites and now potentially another group before ASZ and the Saviors. I actually would have liked it if the Terminus arc hadn't ended so early, it seemed like an interesting story.

Well never mind then. Still loved the episode. They're not wasting time moving the plots forward anymore. Can't wait to see where they go from here. Especially with a more cautious group, who probably have some major trust issues from here on out.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Was the dead body on the table in the room where the Terminus guys were knocking people out and slitting their throats someone we're supposed to know? I think Rick said, "leave him let him turn". He looked really familiar.

For those who missed the appearance of Morgan, AMC has already put it on Youtube I missed this. Was it a post-credit scene? Is that gonna be a regular thing?

I'm surprised how fast that went. I was expecting for this entire episode being about how they planned to escape. Instead, Carol blows shit up and everybody else stabs their way to freedom in one sitting.
So as far as Eugene and his cure goes, what exactly do you think it is?(please, no comic spoilers) When he said the cure dies with him, do you think something for the cure is in his blood? Like he used part of himself to experiment.

So as far as Eugene and his cure goes, what exactly do you think it is?(please, no comic spoilers) When he said the cure dies with him, do you think something for the cure is in his blood? Like he used part of himself to experiment. The comic spoiler urge is strong, but I will not spoil it. Having said that, depending on how they play it up on the show; its going to be a memorable moment and not in the way that you anticipate. What I will say is this: in interviews, Robert Kirkman (the man behind the creation of The Walking Dead) has said that this story isn't about figuring out the cause and that it is about living in this post apocalyptic world. You'll get an answer about Eugene but you're not going to get an answer about the cause of the walking dead. As for the guy on the slab getting chopped on while Rick, Daryl, Glenn and Bob were in grave danger; that was Alex, the guy who took a bullet in the dome in Terminus before Rick and Co got chased through Terminus and stuck in the train car. Alex is believed to be Gareth's brother. In other words, they were preparing to eat one of their own group, and in Gareth's case, his own brother. It should also be said that it seems Mary (the woman Carol shot in the leg) is Alex and Gareth's mother. As for Morgan. I'm guessing that: A. They didn't know where to fit in that reveal so it was best to save it for the end as a little bit of time had to pass between Rick's group and Morgan being at the same point. B. I doubt it. It was the season premier, and they wanted to load this episode up with some shocking moments; of which they delivered in spades. C. I honestly don't think we're going to see much of Morgan aside from that shot to show he's still alive until a crucial moment later on in season 5. D. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Morgan does get reunited with Rick in the comic and makes it to the Alexandria Safe Zone. It is reasonable that he at some point will join Rick's group albeit under different circumstances. The "Clear" episode was similar to how he joins Rick on the way to DC in the comics, except that happened in the comic after the fall of the prison, and Rick and Carl had Abraham with them instead of Michone. I do think they'll play up the angle of just how sane Morgan is in the show, and his level of trustworthiness where Rick really has to go to bat for him to the rest of the group. Last but not least, for those saying that the Terminus storyline is over. I wouldn't say its over. Gareth took one to the shoulder but he's still alive. In the "Fear the Hunters" arc of the comic, there were only 5 of them including their leader. Gareth doesn't need that many ex-Terminus peeps to go on the hunt. Terminus as a place may be done with, but the story still has a ways to go.

So anyone else think the guy who had the Terminus crew hostage at the end was {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Negan? Yup, I thought it was him too. The only thing is every casting decision is noted on the net so that if we saw anyone remotely resembling _______ the net would explode. I thought the same thing. In actuality it would've been a great build-up to him if it actually was {Spoiler}Negan. Overall I found the episode to be amazing. Action, gore, intensity, a little humor, and just a badass atmosphere across the board. My guess is {Spoiler}they run into other Terminus followers that have been scattered?

My guess is {Spoiler}{Spoiler}they run into other Terminus followers that have been scattered? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}If you're not a reader of the comic, then this is the jist. There is no Terminus in the comic. Rick's group on the way to DC run into a smallish (5 people) group that try to pick them off, put fear into them so they can be hunted more easily, and then eat them. They're referred to in different titles as "The Hunters". Gareth closely resembles Chris, the leader of their group. In other words, Terminus was used basically as a way of introducing The Hunters, giving them a bigger, more visceral setting, and showing us just how depraved they are. With that said, now they have a revenge motif on top of all that. It is a pretty wild ride on the way to their next destination. Assuming we follow the comic closely, there's the hunters, massive herds, "TAINTED MEAT!~", and Father Gabriel Stokes acting a fool. The death of the twins was already covered last season by Mika and Lizzie, but happened at this part of the comics as well with Carl busting a cap instead of Carol.

I think it would have been even more awesome if they had Morgan look off camera and shout "this way", then they cut to Mark Strong. "I don't care which way anything has to be better then where we just left."

Alright, some questions:
1: Are Daryl and Carol (that rhymes!) an official couple? Or just good friends?
2: They threw in that background story about Gareth and crew being trapped and abused by those they initially tried to rescue. Any idea if this is to draw sympathy for them, or to just show their origin and why they did what they did?
3: Should we assume other Terminus prisoners were just random victims? Or is it possible they were all members of the original group who overtook the founders?
4: When Carol and Tyreese first approached the guy setting up fireworks, she immediately asked him about Michonne and Carl. How did she know to ask? Did I miss the guy talking about them to the other woman on the walkie talkie?
5: Is it me, or did Tyreese gain weight? (On another note, that was badass of him to fight through the Walkers. Wish we actually saw it).

The guy didn't mention Michonne and Carl by name, I think he said the "samurai and the kid" if I recall.

Yes, you missed him mention that the samurai was bad news and how eat wanted to eat the kid with the hat after he was bled out. 5. I don't know that he gained weight, he's always been a pretty solid guy regardless.

This was a group, just like Rick's, who were some decent people just trying to do the right thing. After ,in their minds, screwing themselves over by doing the "right thing" have had to change their mindset to do some really questionable things to survive. It's kind of a plot point they are pushing this season, "f" morals and do what you gotta do to live. Also it leads into some background story for those characters that were living at terminous. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Where if it goes where it should be, we see those characters again with some extra motivation for destroying their home.

Amazing episode, although I'm surprised they concluded the Terminus arc so fast. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I'm guessing this season will be the journey to the Alexandria Safe Zone with the season finale being their arrival and the first events there. Next season, I'm guessing is No Way Out and then.... the season after, we get NEGAN! Anyway, does anybody else think that the big guy whose face was hidden who was part of the group who overran Terminus might be Davidson from the comics? He seemed to share similar traits, mainly the "rape" of women; perhaps the Alexandria in the TV show is under Davidson's rule still and this series concludes with Team Rick overthrowing him?

Loved the premiere and will definitely be looking forward to the rest of the season.
Though I hope they didn't blow their wad on the first episode.

{Spoiler}Please, please don't have Negan kill Glen on the show. I hope they switch the roles and have it be Daryl. Honestly I'd be happy if they just don't have Negan's big moment on television at all.
