The Rumble and Mania get them every year, why not SummerSlam?
John Cena's appeared at SummerSlam ten years in a row, giving him the longest present streak of appearances, and he's lost six of those matches making him have more losses at the show than anyone else. His only SummerSlam win since 2007 was in 2010. Second place for most losses are Booker T and Jeff Hardy, who are both 0-5.
The best record at SummerSlam is Hulk Hogan at 6-0, while the person with the most wins is Undertaker at nine.

Bret Hart won the World Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam 1990, the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam 1991, and the WWF Championship at SummerSlam 1997 making him the only wrestler to ever achieve a SummerSlam Triple Crown.

SummerSlam was the only PPV that Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura never worked at the commentary booth together.
88: Jesse worked in the main event (as the ref) so Gorilla commentated with "Superstar" Billy Graham. 89: Jesse worked the booth with Tony Schavonie as Gorilla was on vacation/leave. 90; Gorilla worked with Roddy Piper as Ventura had just left the company.

(Match Duration 28 minutes 0 seconds) I don't know which is more surprising, that Savage never went longer than 28 minutes or that he managed to get 28 minutes out of Warrior.

Swerve, it's that they gave 28 minutes to a match that ended in a count out.

I am very surprised at that too. I love Warrior but can't imagine him working that long of a match, was it any good?
