Yeah. It helps the originator of the entire world/character is on board and directing but yeah - aside from a bit of CGI that comes across as looking a little rough - the over all feel and style of the film looks amazing and bad ass.
Even the color scheme and attention to detail with the different types of gangs is really cool.

Did you guys know that original drafts of The Road Warrior called for The Goose (Max's superior in Mad Max) to have actually been Lord Humongous?
I'm glad they're making another Mad Max, but I'm sold on Mel Gibson. I'd rather see an old crusty Max destroying the gangs again.
