LMAO. "TNA KICKS OUT AT 2.9!" Or in TNA's case, 1.1. I'm guessing that although the negotiations are not officially dead, things are not looking good. It's possible that someone leaked this story out as a way of playing hardball, but usually where there is smoke, there's fire. *edit* Beaten to the 1.1 joke.

Only Tupac, Mark Twain, and Elvis have survived longer on rumors of their demise.

Man, what if TNA can pull a victory (or at least not take a straight-up "L") from the bowels of their drawers and get back on Spike? We may have to wait another 12 years for TNA to be in this position again. I just don't know if I have that in me... Just...stay calm, everyone! TNA is still gonna die. *laughs nervously* Oh I have no desire for them to die, I'd rather they keep on keeping on. Yeah the jokes about TNA dying are fun and all for the board (I mean really what else are we going to do?), but realistically it doesn't do anyone much good to lose a promotion, least of all the employees. I'd much rather they continue their existence.

I still can't get over Vince Russo being a reason for this. Everyone knew he was a cancer to the business 15 years ago, and yet his finger prints are all over the creative direction of another dying wrestling promotion. Dixie's incompetence is mind boggling here. So I guess Jeff, the Dudleyz, and Angle can go back to the WWE now. Everyone else will be scattered around Japan, ROH, etc, most likely. Does anyone want to see Jeff, the Dudleyz or Angle back in WWE... Treated like conquering gods who will only work with Cena, HHH, or Lesnar while everyone else is treated like bums? I don't think Angle can pass either the physical or wellness, and with the stock how it is they're not gonna take a chance on him in the ring. The Dudleyz are tag guys and the tag team division needs more teams now. But a clean motivated Jeff Hardy? I'd be fine pushing the hell out of him.

But I'm not going to be very upset if they do die.

I'm not surprised Dixie and Spike TV are denying this. For the former it's nothing more than them trying to save face. Dixie is stubborn. She'll never admit defeat until the bitter end, when all hope has been dashed.
They're just trying to delay the inevitable so they don't have to admit that they've been turfed until they have no choice.
As for Spike TV, they just don't want to admit they got scooped by TMZ.

Well, to give some credit, Dave Meltzer wanted to wait it out, and even on the LAW, was pretty much getting info on the spot. This I feel is a really bad shot at Wrestlezone, who were the ones who blew their load before getting all the info. It's still a wait and see deal though.

Nothing says "BET" like a Southern, mostly white wrestling promotion with a "good ol' boy" environment and like 4 black dudes on the roster.
