It's so not a sad song, but I was on the verge of tears the first few times, cuz the lyrics are pretty much my life (minus the STAR TREK stuff, though)

An email was sent out with the song (hence where I found it), and it was stated that this song "wouldn't even be on the album".
I had it on heavy rotation on my iPod the other day on the way back from the field.

"Weird Al" has never 'lost it'. His last album, 2003's Poodle Hat was outstanding. Some great parodies, some wicked original diddies. Without question the greatest recording star of our time.
(well, minus everyone else, of course).
