Shawn Michaels missing Now Way Out 1998 was so straight up bizarre to me, especially when he was placed with Savio Vega who looked so out of place with HHH and the Outlaws.

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

I don't remember the PPV, but I do remember that whole "elevated liver enzymes" fiasco.

Razor Ramon at Wrestlemania XII. My timeline might be off, but I think he was suspended/in rehab prior to his exit from WWF I've heard this too, and it isn't surprising. I just remember at the time wondering why he wasn't there. I was hoping for a Goldust rematch or a match with the 123 Kid.

I honestly thought TLC 2011 was a dawn of a new era because of Cena's absence and Punk's awesome match

Sorry if this seems like I'm randomly bumping my own thread but just realised I left off one of the names that I had in mind when making this thread. The Undertaker at SummerSlam 1991. He would leave the next PPV as WWF Champion and his "undefeated streak" was still intact (although I saw him get pinned by ?The Warrior at a UK show earlier that year), so why not feature him in what was the "second biggest show" of the year? All we got was him turning up at the Savage/Elizabeth Wedding Reception.

The time Owen Hart didn't show up for his match at Over the Edge 1999. I'll show myself out.

It sucked though.

Warrior not making it to Survivor Series 1992, despite there being a fair bit of build and advertising already.
