Though, Sting did go up in my estimation with his shouting back, at a "bullshit!" call from the crowd, "I AGREE!" and not hiding that this was a betrayal of his trust in the company. Yes, even companies backstab Sting. Oh yeah, but if we're going by Copout rules? This takes the cake
Hardy too drugged out to think straight, Bischoff having to stall for time and make it a gimmick match that wouldn't matter anyway. Stinger Death Drop, match and PPV ends like 20 minutes early even despite recapping the whole show to fill up more time.
Say what you want about the Finger Poke of Doom, this was a match that was ten times worse than that just with the knowledge of what happened alone with Hardy's health and them not willing to change the card despite it, and having Sting try and work with basically nothing, at all.
One of the biggest embarrassments in this history of Wrestling.
The worst part, to me, was that it seemed to me like the Deathdrop was a called spot in the ring by Sting, meaning they probably expected him to try to wrestle Jeff, showing a shocking lack of awareness of how f***ing dangerous that'd be. Sting would have none of that, and they had no real backup plan, it would appear. I know TNA has never had the roster depth WWE has, nor could we expect them to, but surely they could have had someone pull double duty, or otherwise give the fans something, anything. Instead, they shortchanged them.

You can even tell Jeff was trying to kick out but Sting would not allow it, he wouldn't spend a single second more in that ring.
Sting is a professional, he tried, but when someone is wacked out of their mind and probably think's you're a black and white monster coming to steal their Waffles, you can't do much.

Ladies and gentlemen, they asked $50+ for this shit and then stand in front of an investors conference trying to say it's anything but the product. $50 plus. Fifty. For that. Anyways, that weird boner they had for count-outs from April through to about June last year, where Punk, Sandow, some Divas, Axel et al had a run of victories/losses by count-out, as though someone just remembered it was a thing. It's generally the route taken by the 'E, they alternate as to what 'get out of jail free' ending they're running into the ground on a quarterly basis. Unexplained non-finishes seem to be en vogue.

Tag matches that end in a DQ because the ref has lost control or one team is double-teaming excessively when it's something that's no different to any other tag match, if you're going to do that ending at least make it clear that it's gone far beyond the normal situation. Even worse are the tag-matches that ended in DQ after somebody in the match had the temerity to break up a pinfall attempt. The "my rival's theme music is playing so I must pay attention to him" finish annoys me so much. It'd be one thing if it was just a brief glance at the soundstage that costs the wrestler the match but no, they HAVE to stare at the other person for several seconds as if they have completely forgotten they were in a wrestling match. Stupid, makes everybody that falls for it look like a complete goober. The worst example is The Authority coming out to distract Big Show at a PPV late last year, the dumb lug must have spent at least a minute looking up the ramp at people that weren't even allowed to physically involved. Those finishes are nearly always bad but that was the worst example I've ever seen, Big Show looked like the world's largest idiot especially as the set-up for the match had already made him seem dumb. To make matters worse it came shortly after the awful Battleground finish already mentioned in this thread, I have no idea why Big Show was a face after costing Daniel Bryan the title anyway.

That first one reminds me of another one, Wrestler 1 brings a weapon in/does something illegal, then Wrestler 2 does something similar, both guys get dq'd. No, you clearly saw 1 guy break the rules first, that's the guy you dq.

Not a WWE Match, but Sting vs Jeff Hardy, TNA Victory Road 2011 That "match" should have NEVER happened in the state Hardy was in, at all. Though, Sting did go up in my estimation with his shouting back, at a "bullshit!" call from the crowd, "I AGREE!" and not hiding that this was a betrayal of his trust in the company. Yes, even companies backstab Sting. Hahahaha oh my God even TNA itself turned heel on Sting!

It would make my day if, just once, someone came out with the intent to cause a distraction and just got completely ignored until they actually set foot in the ring and struck someone.

I hate these finishes. Bret Hart talked about the plethora of "blowjob" finishes in WCW's demise days where the heels would win with the low blow.

I can't remember what match it was (I think Cesaro was involved), but last year somebody just glanced up at the ramp and it cost them the match. That was probably the only time that tactic didn't make the victim look like a fool. Better than Kennedy losing the US title to Benoit due to being distracted by Undertaker stock footage.

When two people are fighting and the heel decides he's had enough for today and just slides out of the ring and walks up the ramp while the face looks confused. I guess it's ok in rare cases but when I used to watch Raw on the regular I used to get pissed whenever this would occur, and not in a kayfabe sense like Im "supposed to". It's not nearly as bad as some other stuff mentioned here though but it's the first thing that came to mind.

I remember a match between HHH & Cody Rhodes, where DiBiase jumped on the apron to distract HHH & HHH went to hit him but then stopped, which was followed by Cole & King saying that if HHH hits DiBiase, HHH would be disqualified, then I asked out loud "Why?", seriously why in the hell would HHH be dqed in that situation? here's the match www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypTRKOqfHlo

Matches that just sorta end with no explanation... usually after interference of some kind.
Was it a DQ? Was it a count out? is it a draw? no one knows because they don't announce anything, they just cut to something else or end the show.

Only works if its a chickens hit heel keeping his title or if they are facing a Brock Lesnar monster that you'd buy they'd fear for their health. Other wise Fandango walking out on Kofi makes Fandango look just as bad as if he lost

Honestly I want WWE to lampoon their own cheap finishes. Like the ultimate cliche match, with a face losing an evil GM ordered handicap match via a low blow, ref bump, held tights, feet on the ropes, and being distracted by someone on the outside.
