Omega Virus! That game was awesome! I remember finding the debug mode that made the voice box thing span through every single thing it could say

First encounter I ever had with anything D&D related. And, shortly after, 40k related with Space Crusade. Played both a ton when I was younger. Come to think of it, I also had Advanced Heroquest when it came out later on. That was pretty good too. It's not really "D&D related". It's from Gamesworkshop not Wizards of the Coast so it's Warhammer related I mean like anything to do with fantasy roleplaying and dice and all that. Never did any of that stuff, still haven't done much either but it introduced me into that existing in the first place. I'd seen a few fantasy films as a little kid but didn't know there were boardgames (and non-board games) that people played in that kind of setting.

Ah yes Space Crusade the futuristic sibling of Heroquest I have Crusade too with all the blips and minatures (Although god knows where the dreadnought went.) Heroquest always appealed to me more for some reason. Space Crusade did lead me into 40k which led towards classic Tyranids (not the new miniatures mind they just feel wrong to me somehow.) Which gives me an excuse to post my favourite bit of 40k art: Classic tyrnaid warrior killing eldar.

My friend had it and played me through it one time. While I prefer Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder, Heroquest WAS A BLAST!!!! I really loved playing it, and had lots of fun, even if it was only that one time! Wish it wasn't so expensive, I'd consider buying it and the expansions in a heartbeat.

Never played Heroquest, but I'm sure I've seen the box at the local nerd club.
Talisman, however...
