He should be acting serious like this more often. He seems more genuine and less jobber-y when he's not flailing his arms and screaming like a maniac. This is a nice first step to changing the conversation on Dolph Ziggler.

This is a nice first step to changing the conversation on Dolph Ziggler. Dolph was indeed very likable here, much more than when he's trying to be nonchalant. I wish Cole interviewed others besides Triple H more often - I love how relaxed the conversations come across.

Were Dolph and Miz really childhood friends? I never knew that.
Also yeah relaxed sit down interviews are cooler than in ring promos. The Cena Brock promo vid is a good recent example.

This is definitely Triple H's influence at work. Something tells me that when Vince steps down for whatever reason we'll be getting alot more of this kind of stuff. And that can only be a good thing.
As for the interview itself, not bad at all. And it's pretty cool that they chose to focus on Dolph this week in one of these. I think the last time Triple H no-showed they ended up interviewing Paige instead.
Now if only we could get some of these aired on television.

I think the whole idea of Dolph Ziggler showing off, but not backing it up, would make more sense if he already hadn't won the World Heavyweight Championship.
(though if he only had the one reign where he was awarded the title, then it would make perfect sense)

This interview reminded me somewhat of when JR started interviewing Mankind, which led to the Dude Love debut, or the interviews with Goldust and Marlena, which led to the divorce and The Artist.
I like it.

Great great interview from Dolph. He's got it all, he just needs to get Triple H and the gang firmly behind him.

Shit like this is what I'd like to see on TV, but what can ya do? It makes me actually care about the Ziggler/Miz match.

This interview reminded me somewhat of when JR started interviewing Mankind, which led to the Dude Love debut, or the interviews with Goldust and Marlena, which led to the divorce and The Artist. I like it. Very much so - this is the kind of interview/promo that can actually get people invested in the character, and to make a feud feel like it matters. There's actual substance here, which could absolutely improve the feud.

The weekly interviews are better with a rotating series of guests sitting down with Cole rather than just the weekly HHH exposition promo.

I said it before and I'll say it again: these interviews are amazing and the fact that they aren't on tv is f***ing ridiculous and harmful to the talent.
