I think I counted 3 or 4 moments where the Network froze or "popped" for a second and dropped to like 240p but was back to HD in about 10 seconds. As a Virgin Media customer who only had access to standard def Sky Box Office though, it was a drastic improvement for half the price. Suck my nuts, Sky. Had a few small freezes that all only lasted about five seconds during, and that's on a slow-ass Sky internet connection (which is thankfully changing on the Feb 10th to Virgin). Maintained full HD throughout.

Also, maybe I am sad but I enjoy watching 240p improve to HD. It gives me a warm feeling seeing the clarity develop, lol.

I'm really enjoying the network but the picture quality isn't great. I mean I only have 4mb speed but that's got enough for good quality picture on Netflix on my PS4 but WWE Network does not give me the same quality. Other than that, I'm enjoying it. 4 Mbit is really not much. I guess you don't come above 720p at netflix? Bitrate is 3000 kbps@720p. The next step is 1080p@4300 kbps and the highest 1080p@5700 kbps. The networks highest resolution is 720p30. If they have a higher bitrate than netflix at 720p you can get problems with 4 Mbit and maybe you just get SD. When it's actually in 720p it looks good, not great but good. Compared to WWE Blu-rays in 1080i60, you can see a big difference in picture quality and the framerate is cut to half on the network. This is why you don't have that smooth, live sports broadcast feeling on the network. I hope they get 720p60 soon. Unfortunately there is no option, to view status information like current resolution and bitrate, like on netflix.

My only real complaint was after having avoided spoilers all day, a notification from the Network came up on my iPad during the Mizdow match talking about a post-Rumble Reigns interview - but then he was the clearly predictable winner for ages now so I guess it could be worse. I'm often the same. As my work involves a fair bit of engaging with folk through social media, I have to try and avoid any spoilers. As all of my followers/followees on the work Twitter account are education/academic related I can get away with it sometimes, but a random retweet or favourite has gotten thru!! Damn that sounds risky - I avoided Facebook and Twitter after I got home on Monday (was out from early morning so not an issue before I got home) but I didn't think about the damn app. I've changed the notification settings now and it has left me peace seen then. As I expected Reigns to win then it wasn't that bad I suppose, but damn if I had been watching Survivor Series the night after and the Sting spoiler had come up then I'd have been VERY pissed-off.

Just got an email saying Feb is free and won't be charged until March due to being a new subscriber. Anyone else?

A very nice surprise to get the first 6 weeks of the network, including two PPVs, for free.

I have got the email as well, very happy about that. Haven't had a problem viewing videos since I registered until just now. It isn't playing anything and is not going off the lauding/buffering spiral thing. The whole page has loaded and my internet connection is currently at its best (and I am Firefox). Any help or advice would be really appreciated, or is it a problem at their end? EDIT: It is working for the live feed but it won't play anything else...I just want to watch this weeks NXT

Can you play videos on other sites, like Youtube? This might tell you whether it's a more general video problem or if it's something to do with the Network website that your computer doesn't like.
And I also have to suggest the classic solution: switch it off, then switch it back on again.

Switched to chrome, the entire thing works better on here. A bit of getting used to with the differences compared to Firefox, but well worth it for a much better version of the Network. Thanks to you and Gecko for the help!

I would get such awful playback using Firefox, constant jittering and freezing. Switched to Chrome and it sorted straight away. A few months later, Chrome's built-in Flash player decided it hated the Network (constant audio problems) so then had to install a stand-alone Flash player to combat that.

Firefox has started to annoy me in the past few days with all the pauses, so I gave Chrome a try. No freezing issues, but the quality of the video was pretty poor, so I went looking for another solution. I found another browser called K-Meleon, which is based on Firefox. I played around with it for a bit last night, and this morning so far I've watched about 30 minutes of MITB '10. So far there have been absolutely no pausing / buffering and the quality is consistently excellent. The only (very minor) issue I've found is that it sometimes takes a little longer to initially load the video, but if it keeps performing as it has, I've found my new browser for watching the Network.

Watched Survivor Series 1998 earlier, it's edited quite a bit. They've managed to censor out just about every time someone says "WWF" leaving annoying pauses (even though the scratch logo is unblurred throughout) and they've bleeped out the word "piss" a couple of times even though it states at the beginning that the show contains "language".

Seems as if this "month and a half free for first subscribers" deal is basically the WWE making up to the UK for the delay by giving away the Rumble and Fast Line. except they haven't publicised it.
