That's a weird way of saying I'm excited. I just wanted to share for those who might care.
I've been doing stand up comedy for about a year and I just got told I'm on a festival in Cincinnati, OH called Brew Ha Ha next week. Comedians performing include David Alan Grier, The Sklar Brothers,Tony Wood, Andy Woodhull, Dan Cummins, Geoff Tate, Robert Hawkins and Bobcat Goldthwait.
So even though it's a festival and I'm not exactly "sharing" the stage with them, I'm pretty damn excited.

I really thought that this thread was started just to post the following song since you used pretty much the same words as the opening lyrics:

Other than that, it is a pretty solid lineup so if you have been told that you deserve to be lumped in with them then things are indeed going your way.

And yeah, he gets the "You're that Geoff Tate?" question a lot. I'm pretty sure he enjoys it.

Congratulations. There's few feelings that are better than when you're doing something you love and realize that, even little by little, people are recognizing and acknowledging your abilities.
Good luck with the performance!

Bit of a bummer. Bobcat dropped out last minute.
Good news about it he's taking the time to take care of Robin Williams' family as they were really close. Bummed I won't see him but what a good guy.

NICE! get some one to record it so we can see your set. I'm going to try. It's outside with a crowd of meandering drunks so it might be hard. I'll give it a shot though.

You better find some way to mention us...or not. Hope you kill em. Thanks. For real if someone designs a shirt with the new site logo I'd wear it onstage all the time. Too late for this show but we can hope for others

For those curious it went well. I got put on Saturday and performed once at 5 and again at 10. Did well both times. The 10 set was up against David Alan Grier and I still had an audience so I was pleased. TJ Miller also showed up randomly and I met him. Awesome time. Here's a pic of me repping La Parka like I do here: And a bunch of us wearing mid 90s Shawn Michaels zebra caps:
