And the many educational videos that had a presenter trying so hard to look cool. Poochy cool.
And how many did you see which had some doing bad hip hop that started like this 'Hi, it's Harold here, and I'm here to say...'?

In Junior High we had to watch several videos about Anorexia and Bulimia, one time even in home ec. I understand that it was something serious (and at the time, those super skinny models were popular), but i think we got the point the first time around.

Driver's Ed class horror videos. Assuming Driver's Ed literally means educating people on how to drive (I've never heard the term) that is really interesting. We get none of that here! How does it work? Like do you take driving lessons from the school? EDIT: And it seemed like in primary school, every "wet day" (when we weren't allowed to go outside at lunch time as it was raining, did often lead to getting chased down by the older kids sent out to collect us!), we had to watch frickin Willow! :\

I had to watch Storyloards in second grade. I oftin fell asleep during this.
Thankfully this video doesn't have the husky boy peddling the magic bike with all his might.
In third and fourth grade me school consolers played these videos called POPs. The videos were self esteem and doing your best. They were also filled with Kidz Bop style singing and bad acting.
I had to watch The Agony and The Ecstasy twice during my senior year in high school.

In high school, a scare video on abortions, with actual footage of said abortions, for at least 20 minutes. Luckily, I had to wear glasses back then, so I simply took off my glasses and took in the blurry ignorance. Same, the video we saw was probably about 3 minutes set to an anti-abortion song. My seat was at the front of the class so I saw everything until I had enough and starred at my desk. I seriously thought about walking out. My sister was pregnant at the time. The next day, I caught another student complaining, basically saying we were given no warning. The teacher didn't seem to care, I thought it was bullshit. I didn't need to see any of that.

We never watched the driver's ed horror videos, but instead, had a safety instructions one that was very obviously from around 1991. I saw it in 2003, and was geeking out so hard. It had tips from Hulk Hogan, MC Hammer, the Ninja Turtles, etc., etc. Man, oh man, how I wish I could find a copy. Ninja Turtles giving safety tips sounds hilarious! Now I kind of want to see it

OK, let's see.
As a student, I've watched:
The Electric Grandma Brothers by Choice Midnight is a Place
All were pretty bad - yet good in their awfulness. I will forever fear man-eating hogs in sewers.
As a teacher, I've shown:
The ladder match from WM21, alongside a documentary on Chris Benoit. The Star Wars Holiday Special.

Just remembered another one, not really bad but one time they showed us a Cosby Show episode where one of the daughters got drunk. The episode was several years old at that point, so i dont know why they chose to show it (unless it was the only sitcom episode they could find involving drinking) As for actual GOOD films i saw in school: The Secret of NIMH An American Tail Raiders of the Lost Ark Scrooged Sister Act The Fawlty Towers episode "The Rat" during some unit on England (not a movie to be honest, but still good)

I do remember watching two really old shows (1970's stuff)- The Letter People (which, apparently, got a facelift right after I seen it) and The Music Fair (which has no trace online).

Back when I was in kindergarten, my class subjected to a film strip about "the trash monster" - snowman-like sculpture made entirely out of litter. First, it was horrifying. I had nightmares every time I saw it, and the teacher showed it all the damn time. It also didn't make much sense. How could all that garbage stay in a relatively convincing snowman shape without any sort of adhesive? Why was lawn clippings considered to be litter? Who in the hell would discard of an oven mitt while using his riding lawnmower? (At one point in the film, a guy on a riding on a riding lawnmower throws an oven mitt into the street.)
In middle and high school, the entire school would gather in the auditorium to watch a 90 minute video about... homelessness or lying or something. It really made no sense. All I remember is that it had three screens, hip music and was brought to us by Pentel Pens.
In driver's ed, we had to watch driver safety videos from the late 50s and early 60s. They were sponsored by the car companies and featured such tidbits as "every time you see someone pulling out of a driveway, honk" and "if you even get a chance to use President Eisenhower's new interstate roadway system..."

I'm old so I remember the exercise in boredom that was watching "The Voyage of the Mimi", starring a young Ben Affleck.

1. A terrible film strip about The Spanish American War with Terry Gilliam cut out animations.
2. A film from the 80's about the Constiutional Convention made as if it was news happening at that time. Highlights was a fake commercial for the economy of the 1780's (Do you have money? Of course not! Nobody does. Lets barrrrrrrr-teeeeeeeer!"

Yeah, though it is pretty much just Star Wars in a medieval setting instead of space
