shop.wwe.com/Title-Belts/shop-wwe-products-titlebelts,default,sc.html Like when the bronze Tag Team title replicas went on sale before Raw finished, the new WWE World title belt is available to pre-order on WWE Shop. Also gives a better look at the details of the belt that Raw didn't WWE Shop will have it in stock on September 5th. WWE Euroshop, like they are with my Brie Mode t-shirt, keeps us in suspense

I like the addition of "World Heavyweight Champion", but I wish there was more elements of the Big Gold on it. I still think that a gold plate behind the logo would do wonders. I remember seeing photoshops of the previous version of the title with that addition and I thought it was far superior.

I may be alone on this, but just the change from the scratch logo to the current one makes it look more professional to me.

When we have seen in the past various sports teams get championship belts, now they will have big WWE logos on their shoulders, rather than the Big Gold.

I don't mind the design, I just think the black should maybe be silver colored or something.

So that's actually the strap you're seeing back there. Guess they figured it'd look strange to have paint on the strap only in that part of the belt.

Well I guess I mean they should have a silver plate right there instead of just nothing. I think the colors would look better and also having nothing there doesn't seem complete enough to me.

Wasn't the original plan to have a solid plate, but it made the thing too heavy, hence why the cut?

The belt is heavy as it is so I can only imagine it being one solid plate would make it significantly heavier. Remember when Henry dropped the title on Cena and Cena acted like he'd been shot? He wasn't acting, the thing is damn heavy.

Yeah, I remember Cena and Punk both saying the original version was way too heavy which is why it wasn't debuted until almost a year after the leaks started.

I really don't think the very minor changes warranted a special unveiling ceremony.
I think a lot of the crowd and viewers at home were momentarily befuddled trying to work out what was actually different about it.

I wish that was the belt too. A neutral design. No nameplate or custom sideplates.
I just hate seeing a big title win and seeing somebody celebrate with somebody else's name on the belt. Just let it be the WWE title.
Anybody else feel this way? Like Benoit celebrating with Triple H's name on the title. Or DB holding up the belts with Orton's name and RKO Viper plates. The title should immediately belong to the winner, they shouldn't have to wait to put on their name/sideplates.
Just a pet peeve of mine. Plus, you save money on not having to engrave stuff or make custom plates. There's some cost cutting for ya.
