What is that song, "I'm the man, I'm the man, I'm the man"? That's actually called "The Man", by Aloe Blacc. Also, in regards to Iggy Azalea, I find that the only memorable parts of her songs usually don't involve her. I don't know if that says more about her being boring, or that Charli XCX and Rita Ora are good. I say thee nay! Those parts are also awful (maybe not skill-wise, but the writing/lyrics are horrid), they just seem good because of what is around them. Side note, there is a song called "I'm the Man" by Joe Jackson that is one of the best songs ever.

Rude was just on 3 f***ing stations at the same damn time... I could swap between the three of them and not miss a beat...

Rude was just on 3 f***ing stations at the same damn time... I could swap between the three of them and not miss a beat... That reminds me, there was an article in the Wall Street Journal earlier this year about how the most overplayed songs on radio have nearly doubled in airplay from a decade ago. So if you find mainstream radio even more annoying than before, well, yeah: online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702303754404579313150485141672

I really hate "Ain't it Fun" by Paramore, and not just because it's bad. Every time it starts my brain thinks it's going to be Bananrama's "Cruel Summer" and then it's not.
Also one I'm confused with is a current hits station playing La Roux's "Bulletproof" a lot right now. I'd think they'd be playing one of her new ones if anything.

That Rude song is seemingly on all the time. With so many alternatives out there, Pandora, Spotify, mp3 players, etc., I wonder why so many people STILL listen to the radio in 2014... Driving makes none of those options as easy as flicking the radio on, likewise any work based music is frequently a radio station.

I'll definitely say that damn "All of Me" song.
It starts off with a nice sentiment.... but turns into, "you're one crazy bitch, but I love you for some reason" then the last half of the song is just clumsy metaphor after clumsy metaphor.
I think I have a legal right to punch him right in the face for the "cards on the table, we're both showing hearts" line. I think it gave me diabetes and cancer.... it gave me cancerbetes.

If my only option for music while driving was listening to the radio, I'd honestly choose silence. Work radio, I'll give you that.

Ouch glad that song doesn't stick in my mind. Sounds like a crappy Hallmark card.

the problem with Happy is 3:53, but for almost 2 minutes of that it's the EXACT same thing overandoverandoverandoverandoverandoverandoverandoverandoverandoverandoverandover again. the first time i heard the radio version i thought it was skipping for some reason. i know it was only suppose to be in the movie for a few seconds, but c'mon man, write a second verse already!!!!

I'd much rather listen to my own music than what's on the radio.... but, when you have a shit-tacular car with a malfunctioning CD slot and no means of auxillary input.... rock or classic radio is the best option for me. I, honestly, can't stand driving... but as it's a necessity, I need some form of music to make the drive time not seem so tedious. Also, yes... we've tried the FM Tuners.... they don't work for shit.

The only song I'd say that really annoys me is All of Me. Not really for any particular reason or anything, just not a fan of it and the constant playing isn't helping.

Pretty sure the most annoying song on the radio, for the 15th straight August, has to be "Smooth" by Santana featuring Rob Thomas. It's the mythical demon that returns every summer. Every iheart station and light station plays it all summer so Smooth reminds me of stinky armpits and shouting matches.

All of Me is awful. Its just so damn boring and droning. Instant channel changer. I have a feeling the new Taylor Swift song will be heavily featured in September's thread.

It's slightly better than that "Game of Love" thing Santana did with Michelle Branch, where it felt like they were totally going to bang at the end of the video.
