my brother, father and I were almost the only ones in the Expendables 3.
I think there were like 2 other people there.

I've been the only one in the theater tons of times. At our local theater, if you go during the day, you're almost guaranteed to be in there by yourself.

Yeah, I was the only there for Beer League. Also, I was one of three people at a showing for Super Size Me. Those are the two that stick out, but I think there's been some others too. Damn,I don't even remember "Beer League" getting to theatres.I'm assuming VERY limited release? As a former huge Stern fan,I bought the dvd when it came out...what a piece of shit. Haha ooops. My mistake. It was Beerfest I meant to say (the Broken Lizard movie). I've seen Beer League too, but that was at home.

I saw the first Hunger Games with my wife and it was us with one other lady. When I went to see Captain America, I think it was us and maybe five other people?

Saw "Chalet Girl" with the wife in a small cinema in Folkestone. As we were the only ones there we spent the whole time chatting like we would do if we were watching a film at home, I think at one point I even did the ironing. It was bloody brilliant!

A few times yes. I usually go on school days for the early showings so there won't be many people there. I was the only one there to watch The Condemned starring Steve Austin. There are a few more recent ones where I was the only one, but I can't remember.
I was the only one in American Hustle until about 5 minutes in 4 annoying ladies reeking of perfume came in and sat right behind me and immediately started a running commentary and incessant laughing on everything that was happening on screen. I was so pissed off. I moved to the very back row.

I've never been the only one, I think the least attended movie I've seen was that Chris Rock movie where he's the president or something, there were 5 of us, 2 people I knew.

I think it's just the Broken Lizard style of humor, which I don't really enjoy, filtered through bad stereotypes and booze humor, the combination was unbearable.

I find it funny how the only times I was ever alone in the theater were when I saw old movies that were re-released in theaters. The times I came close mostly had one or two other people in the theater. I know that the third time I saw "This Is The End" in theaters, there was one other guy who also went alone.

In the early 80's I took my girlfriend to see a movie called "Two of a Kind". She loved it so much that she made me take her back to see it again the next week. For that second showing, we were the only people in the theater.

I was alone in the theater to see Rachel Getting Married. It was a super tiny theater in the very back of a multiplex around 10 PM and I felt like at any time men would come in in labcoats and strap to apparatus and start showing me propaganda footage.

A bunch of times. Also a bunch where my group were the only ones.

2 I can think of off the top of my head were A Good Old-Fashioned Orgy and The Raid: Redemption.

On New Years' Eve 2013 (going into '14), my friend and I were the only ones seeing Anchorman 2. Mind you, this was a cheap hole-in-the-wall type theater that mostly does Bollywood movies but has a handful of popular ones too.
