I thought the next trilogy, or actually the next phase of Star Wars was heading to TV. And a possible setting in the KOTOR universe. If Darth Malak shows up on my TV one day, it will be a very good day indeed. That was the big rumor a while back. I do know that the original un-special edition-ed trilogy is coming to DVD in Sept. That being said........... I think George Lucas is gonna sue somebody.

I highly recommend Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina and Tales from Jabba's Palace. They're full of great short stories about what other characters were doing behind the scenes during the films. And that paradoy they did on Kids Next Door where they're trying to blow up the high school is great. Any other good parodies should be mentioned here.

I love star wars 100% (though farscape rules too)
the movies are great..and well i like the updated ones too (some fans can be too picky..untainted indeed, it makes more sense that boba would sound like jango..what with him being a clone)
the Expanded universe is brilliant (the X wing books rule over everything else..even Harry Potter plus the Bounty Hunter wars are interesting..Fett pwns all in it )
Episode 1 was dull..but hen you think on it..it was technically the first of a 6 part story and well..i think we kinda forget that when we compare it with the others
if you look at it this way..1 was the start of the tale, 2 was the build up 345 were the real action and 6 was the climax
and yes Boba is THE man

Ok, where should I begin?
I like the prequels. Phantom Menace isn't the best movie in the series, but it has it's moments (Not including Jar Jar). All I can say about Attack Of The Clones is four simple words: Yoda with a lightsaber! Revenge Of The Sith is definitely the best of the three. The only thing that ruined that movie for me is all the crappy dialogue between Padme and Anakin, especially at the beginning. Good Grief. But, all the lightsaber duels (especially Yoda vs. Palpatine), finally getting to see Kashyyyk, watching Anakin getting put in the Vader suit and Palpatine becoming the Emperor we all know and love made up for it.
As for the "Original Trilogy", The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite. No explaination nessessary. That movie just rules.
And I will not be buying the Non-Special Editions of Episodes 4-6. The new scene with Vader and The Emperor in Empire is gold and the original ending to Return Of The Jedi still gives me nightmares. No Yub-Yub for me, thank you.

I love the original 3 (ROTJ is alright for nostalgia purposes). The prequels are enjoyable bad movies to me.
I also like the EU, but not because its good or anything but because of how asnine the stories are. I cant believe some of the writers they use, thank God they are not actually canon.
My favorite things about the EU is that they expand on background charecters in the most ridiculous ways. like: IG88 actually almost took control of the second death star before it blew up, Darth Maul actually survived and got mechanical legs, r5D4 the red driod from a new hope learned to use the force and blew himself up so Luke would pick R2, the power of Darth Vader is actually in his right glove, etc I could go on.
I do like the EU in the first KOTOR game. That game was the shit.
