Mick Foley really doesn't surprise me, if only because he's such an irritating promoter of self. He has an uncanny ability to turn every topic into a shill for one of his books or a story about himself.

Davey Boy Smith? Not heard many bad things about him aside from Bret's burial job. Even the guys he pranked seemed to speak fondly of him.

I don't think Dynamite and anyone with the last name Hart aside from Bret or Owen count as credible as far as hate is concerned. There's a metric f-ton of mental instability there.

Daniel Bryan by a mile. I don't think it's possible to hate that guy. I'd also say Christopher Daniels.

I was also going to say Paul Bearer. I had the pleasure of meeting him myself shortly before he passed away, and he was one of the nicest, down-to-earth wrestling personalities I've ever met. It felt more like meeting your friend's dad or something, just no air of "celebrity" about him at all.

Two seconds after I posted what I posted, Undertaker gets mentioned again. He cheated on his wife. Undertaker gets a character point taken away automatically. Undertaker doesn't fit the thread title.

In wrestling, there are a whole bunch of rent-a-quotes who'll pop out of the woodwork to run anyone down if they think it'll make them money so finding anyone that hasn't been trashed in some way is an impossible task. The likes of Hulk Hogan, Shane Douglas, Ric Flair, the Honkytonk Man, Jim Cornette, New Jack and Tammy Sytch would bury Mahatma Gandhi in a shoot interview if they think it would keep people interested in them...
'Well let me tell you something, I'm a big Gandhimaniac, brother, but he was never a star. He spent zero time in the gym and threw some of the weakest looking punches I've ever seen...'

Madusa, she earned the locker room's respect. Nash talked about someone shitting on her bag and she no sold it, no one else messed with her.

First guy I thought of here was Kane. A lot of people rave about what a nice guy he is. He was really nice when I met him years ago, too

Then this thread shouldn't really exist then, because in pro wrestling as was previously stated, there's a lot of guys who will bury anybody for a dollar. There's also a lot of bitter old douchebags who were in the business that would bury anything with a pulse.

There's also a lot of bitter old douchebags who were in the business that would bury anything with a pulse. Maybe, but that's not really the point of the thread. The point is not to find a wrestler who no one on the planet has ever said anything bad about during the course of their life, or to find a wrestler who is completely above reproach, because that's impossible. The point is for one person to be like "I've never heard anyone say anything bad about Bob Wrestler" then if someone knows of a specific case, they reply with "I read Ted Grappler's book where he calls Bob Wrestler a real douchebag." Whether or not Ted Grappler is a reliable source is beside the point.
