from now on.
I mean these two shows have decent wrestling and usually showcase talent I care about more than Raw.
They both keep me up to date with the main roster storylines and make them more interesting with edited together video packages that get rid of all the rubbish and come across better than watching the angles play out on Raw.
Plus the announcing is better and there is less shilling.
And 3 hours of Raw is just too much to bother with any more.
Anyone else do this or are considering it?

Do you DVR stuff? Could always just fastforward through a lot of RAW, you'd probably often find a match or two better than on Superstars or The Main Event.

Yeah I've tried doing that but I always end up too scared to fast forward anything on the off chance something unexpected happens (which I know is unlikely nowadays, but I still can't bring myself to skip much) then I get mad at myself for sitting through the entire show.

That's actually what I've been doing the last few weeks. They recap all the major stuff and if there's something cool I missed, I just look it up online. Main Event and Superstars actually have a good flow and usually feature some good to great matches that aren't run into the ground week in and week out like every Raw. Except for the seemingly best of 10 series that Big E and Titus had going on for a while.

Is there any other TV show on the planet that has people announcing on dedicated fan pages that they're not watching it anymore?

Superstars had a great heavyweight match between Sheamus and Titus a few weeks ago. Sheamus cleanly won but Titus battered him a good bit and looked great in defeat.
You'd think this is something that should be on RAW, really.

I think there should be a thread in the off-topic section for people to announce what TV shows they're no longer watching. People talk about it like it's a serious dating relationship. There was the thread last week about the guy who was thinking of "walking away". It's really not that huge a decision. You can just skip the show, get around to it later if you feel like, or not at all. Catch-up in a few weeks, or not at all. You don't need a long break-up talk or any self-reflection at all.

I don't get why anyone would stop watching if they like wrestling. In 2014, the roster is so stupidly talented that even if your man is not being booked right or whatever, you're getting so many good matches on TV and PPV that I cannot help but enjoy it regardless. It's not perfect story/booking wise but the in ring stuff is insane.
I'll enjoy a terrible WWE show more than pretty much anything else on TV anyway. Any other TV show I watch is likely already on my DVR/Netflix/Amazon so I can enjoy everything WWE does.

The thing is it feels like a serious relationship because of how long many of us have been watching regularly, its hard to break habits like that. Also we spend alot of time on here discussing the programming so to many of us for better or worse it is a very large part of our life. Damn, it really does sound pathetic. I don't get why anyone would stop watching if they like wrestling. Because I personally need interesting storylines and characters to back up the action, It's like saying "Why complain that a movie has terrible writing, an unlikeable character, no reason to get invested in the plot because at least it has exciting special effects and action scenes?" to me whilst wrestling is what the show is about good wrestling isn't really that good if I have no reason to care about the people involved and the reason they are wrestling

Yeah I agree with that, plenty of good wrestling, logical booking, very little shilling and they generally do a good job of making you care about people throughout the card. If you get to end wishing you'd fast-forwarded through it at least it was only an hour. That said in the dark pre-DVR days I used to just watch recap shows during periods I wasn't enjoying and it was much better, they may miss more of the good stuff now Raw is longer though.

I turn on Raw and listen to it while doing other stuff. If something catches my interest, I watch. If not, I do other things. It's that simple.

I'll agree that Raw has been top notch as far as in ring action goes, but everything else surrounding that is kind of lacking. Storylines still start and get dropped within a two week time frame, the commentary is atrocious and everything seems so predictable. I still watch Main Event, Superstars and NXT but three hours of Raw is more of a chore to sit through than anything else.

Is there any other TV show on the planet that has people announcing on dedicated fan pages that they're not watching it anymore? When Jim Halpert became a co-manager for Dunder Mifflin of Scranton, I fired off a nasty post on The Office forum I frequented and said I would only watch webisodes, read detailed plot synopses, and complain online until things changed. And apparently, I sure as heck showed them, because not too long after that, Jim became a salesman again. This is the kind of change CM Punk was talking about.
