I was curious that WWE did promote their first non-wrestling PPV event in 2012 which was the Rolling Stones One More Shot concert in Newark, NJ on Dec 15. I guess that event could count as WWE's thirteenth PPV of 2012 and one that is not pro wrestling.

At least a few times on their programming. I'm not sure about outside that.

Didnt they also promote some boxing ppv in 1988? And some Girls Gone Wild ppv in 2003? And you could argue that the WBF ppvs were technically WWF pay per views.

I think the Girls Gone Wild thing was just a sponsorship but am not sure on it.

Excuse me OP, but they are called "Special Events" now. Get with the times! This is actually the third time they did it. WWE has promoted their first concert outside their wrestling sanctioned events.

That's what he meant. Didn't they backtrack on that a bit though? They went completely over the top to emphasize that Payback was available on PPV to the point where no one on screen referred to it as Payback, it became "the payback ppv" and they hammered that phrase so much it became laughable

I wonder.. I did forget that WWE produced that Pay Per View... Do you think that since they produced it, we'll see it show up on the Network?
