So as we're closing up, the closing bartender and I were ranting back and forth about our grievances with our boss and how she's repeatedly treated long time employees like garbage, can't separate her personal and professional lives, etc. (Not partying and hanging out with the staff or...you know...f***ing them is part of the contract.)
One of our managers that dates out bosses former roommate started talking with us and just let's loose so much dirt that the other employees jaw just dropped. Apparently the other new manager completely bashed him to our JVP (bosses boss) behind his back and he found out and is as fed up as the rest of us.
Apparently she's been f***ing one of my coworkers and even made him employee of the month. She's freaking the hell out because he has pictures of her in a compromising position. She suspended him and tried taking his EOM away because he called in for a shift...but has never suspended anyone else calling in which is another no-no. Punishment for things has to be equal.
Having nothing to do with the work situation, but amusing nonetheless, was that he said he had no idea how promiscuous she was before dating her roommate. Like at least one guy coming out of her room a night...some nights two...even employees. I'm all for a healthy sexual appetite, but damn. You're going to lose your "dream job" if you keep it up. All of the other managers had their wives/girlfriends quit when they became managers as is company policy and she sleeps with staff.
I was more than happy to finish my 7-8 months before my transfer...but after being here for 10 years and 3 bosses including one of the best I've had, I'm considering borrowing HHH's shovel and fixing the mistake I made of not taking her position. (I don't want to get stuck here for 5 years under contract when I want to move my family.) Being she put a knife in my back the first chance she got, I'm trying very hard NOT to write a 20 page essay to corporate about her BS. I could probably write a long bullet point post on things she's done...but I'm lazy. I just love my store too much just to see what it's become after the last boss left to keep my mouth shut.
