Drew McIntyre officially debuted as Dave Taylor's tag partner in 2007, they just showed up in a Smackdown tag team battle royal and lost to Brett and Bryan Major, who would later be Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, after that it was Heat and Velocity matches until he went to FCW and redebuted as the Chosen One in 2009. Actually this how he debuted. October 12, 2007 – SmackDown: Drew McIntyre (debut) w/Dave Taylor defeated Brett Major w/Brian Major. October 19, 2007 – SmackDown: Drew McIntyre w/Dave Taylor defeated Brian Major w/Brett Major. November 2, 2007 – SmackDown: The Major Brothers defeated Dave Taylor and Drew McIntyre in a dark match. November 9, 2007 – SmackDown: Dave Taylor and Drew McIntyre participated in a #1 Contenders Tag Team Battle Royal. November 23, 2007 – SmackDown: The Nasty Boys defeated Dave Taylor and Drew McIntyre in a dark match. December 17, 2007 – RAW: Drew McIntyre defeated Atlas DaBone in a dark match. December 31, 2007 – RAW: Drew McIntyre defeated Charlie Haas in a match taped for Internet HEAT. Then he returned in 2009. profightdb has some esplainin to do.

Pretty much anyone in that weird '08-09 period where guys were just thrown out there without rhyme or reason. "Hey, here's Ryan Braddock/Gavin Spears/Ricky Ortiz/etc!" Hell, even Scotty Goldman. And how many of these guys are still here now? Or even saw the year out? I'm glad things seem to be changing with Triple H keeping a tighter leash on NXT and only bringing guys up to the main roster if creative has something ready for them (Xavier Woods aside). Ricky Ortiz was given a fairly small push, but Braddock, Spears, and Colt (who should've been more) were enhancement guys. I don't mind people coming out to do nothing of they at least have some type of gimmick. I think we need more Xavier Woods types rather than everyone coming in as a serious uppercard threat out the gate, peak early and tumble down the card. I think everyone should start at the bottom and earn their pushes. That way people can get built up steadily instead of being forced down everyone's throats because they have nothing to work up from

The Gymini The Heart Throbs (They also had a tryout match in TNA as The Heartbreakers back then TNA had standards and didn't hire them) Dolph Ziggler (walking around shaking hands and saying his name)

Or was it the Velvet Mafia? No it was the Vincent Kennedy McMahon Mafia. Yeah that was it.

I thought VKM was pretty good in TNA, honestly I don't remember that maybe I missed that episode of Impact or just don't remember all I know is The Heartbreakers TNA match had only one highlight and that's one of them yelling oh shit during a slam and the fans repeating it until the match was over.

Santino debuting as a random crowd plant That's seriously one of my all-time favorite debuts though.

yeah as a weirdo heel hoss group with Jackyl as the leader...very strange I'd nominate Droz from this time period too...started as a generic tattooed/pierced guy, THEN joining LOD and then his Droz' World vignettes...huh?

Paul London appeared backstage randomly with Vince McMahon, he was then put into a WWE Championship match with Brock Lesnar.
Randy Orton first appeared in a similar segment where Stacy Keibler tricked him into feeling her up just as Vince walked back in.

Randy Orton first appeared in a similar segment where Stacy Keibler tricked him into feeling her up just as Vince walked back in. I always hated that London debut. He got literally zero offence and looked scared shitless the whole match. They could have at least allowed him to get a few kicks in before having Lesnar swat him away like a fly and squash him. I wouldn't care who was walking past, if you've got a chance to feel up Stacy Keibler, YOU TAKE THAT CHANCE! I always found Steve Blackman's debut to be the wierdest. He ran in from the crowd, attacked a couple of wrestlers before being taken down by Vader and removed by security.

Weird thing was the Blackman debut was to counter what happened at the Hogan-Piper match in WCW a few weeks earlier, when a random fan ran in. (I also think this was during a dog-collar match between Vader & Bulldog. After Vader took care of Blackman, he yelled "Get this [freakin'] thing off me!", meaning the dog-collar, not Steve.) The Monday Night War just got real, y0. Fans are getting involved! People losing their minds!

I do find it odd that they recognize Alicia as the wedding planner. Like, how easy is it to get into the WWE? I'll be the driver for Cena and IC champ in a year.

Spike Dudley and Rhyno both had sudden debuts by showing up to interfere in tag matches to help their respective teams. Rhyno helped Edge & Christian. Spike helping the Dudley Boyz and giving Edge the Dudley Dog I believe. No vignettes or anything. Just a sudden showing up.
