I read somewhere that allegedly it was to set up Barett vs Undertaker at wrestlemania, but I think it got scrapped after Barrett injured himself. Again I don't know if it was true or no, I hated that they never resolved that angle, the nexus was mismanaged since day one.

As with most stories in the WWE, creative had no idea where the f*** they were going with it and just dropped cryptic hints and phrases to make it look like they had an end game and just hoped that at some point, one of them would have a bright idea.

Not only for it making sense in terms of telling the story but there were two matches after the World Heavyweight title. Noone thought to maybe check if the Deadman needed a water?? The visual of a Buried Alive match should end a show, not with fans wondering if he's still there with two matches going on. |
