So, with Miz basically stealing his "Not the face" gimmick, is Tyler screwed now? Or could two guys using the same gimmick concept work on the same roster?

It was only ever a small facet of his gimmick and one I haven't seen him reference for a good while, so it shouldn't affect Breeze too much. If Miz starts a campaign against uggos though, then there's trouble.

I feel Tyler Breeze's gimmick is another one of those NXT gimmicks that is destined to die in the midcard. So maybe this is the best for him.

They're aggressively patterning him after early heel Shawn Michaels. HHH is putting a ton of stock behind him, and Breeze is delivering at every turn to boot.

For some reason, I see Breeze evolving as a character like Jericho and HBK.

Yeah, Breeze has dropped the not getting hit in the face as he's started moving up the NXT card. I agree with the post above saying he's similar to early HBK, dude's gonna be f***ing awesome.

Breeze is a lot like Dolph Ziggler... he came in with an initial gimmick, it didn't pan out... but eventually he just became known more for his ability than anything else.
I think he'll enter the WWE doing his full-on Zoolander schtick, but over time it'll fade and he'll just be another good worker...hopefully more.

I don't care about the not getting hit in the face thing. I just want him to be a vain prick who keeps his theme song. As long as they don't touch his BEAUTIFUL THEME SONG then it's going to be fine.

He better keep the turning to the camera and mouthing "Personified!" in time with the music, or I'll be hella pissed.

I just hope the main roster Creative team don't get blinded by the zaniness of the gimmick and make him a joke from the second he shows up a la Adam Rose and Emma. NXT has shown that one can still be taken seriously as a wrestler while working such gimmicks, but Vince and co seem to think they're exclusively the preserve of the undercard. The good thing is, he's not saddled with a silly name like Fandango so he can easily shed the more comedic aspects of the gimmick as he ascends up the card if need be, he already kind of has now he's in the NXT title picture.

I was hoping that they were having Miz do the "moneymaker" schtick in order to debut Breeze and give him an instant feud when he got called up. I thought his tweeting about the Miz was the start of it. I think him feuding with Miz would be PERFECT. Who's the heel? Who cares. Two vain narcissistic egos colliding, and it'd be a brilliant way for the 'universe' to get acclimated to who and what Tyler Breeze is all about. He's the one guy right now I'm most excited about being called up.
