I heard it called like the weed tax, or something like that.
What sucks is apparently I think Evan Bourne and R-Truth got busted for synthetic weed as a wellness violation, I think Heath Slater and Darren Young the same thing may've happened. So if they had smoked real weed, they would have gotten a fine. I guess it depends on how much guys make.

I'm surprised we didn't get a full on pothead gimmick in the Attitude era. X-Pac and Road Dogg weren't obvious enough? The Godfather was rolling fatties as well.

Loving the responses so far everything seems accurate , I could see older WWE talent ( I really couldn't picture someone such as Kane , Undertaker , Cena smoking ) using Marijuana for pain and sleep .

Jack Swagger was arrested for driving while high I believe and they didn't seem to punish him in anyway Wasn't he supposed to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIX until that happened?

That is more or less what Foley and others have confirmed, though Foley did not name names and was clear he was not a participant.

Regardless of how safe it may be to consume, and I have no issue with people who choose to use it, but something should have happened to Swagger for driving under an influence (at the very least had his Mania pay day taken away). And anyone in the company who does, especially with them working with this drive awareness group on social media.

Remember kids dont drink and drive with pot in the car.

Can't imagine anyone at the company being that bothered about it.

I remember RVD saying in an interview once that he still smokes while he's active on the roster, stating that he just tells them to go ahead and fine him, because he's not going to stop smoking weed.

Personal preferences aside, I don't see why guys risk their push to smoke marijuana, suspendable or not. Pain relief that doesn't come in the form of an addictive pill that'll tear your liver to pieces is alluring.

Pain relief that doesn't come in the form of an addictive pill that'll tear your liver to pieces is alluring. You can get that! With aspirin, which tears your stomach to pieces instead. There's really no cure-all for the wear and tear that goes with wrestling. I think guys just experiment with what works best.

Weed is certainly better than getting hooked on pain meds. But I think it should be treated like alcohol. Superstars shouldn't be allowed to partake a certain number of hours prior to working, and if they seem to be high when they come in, or caught on the job, then a punishment. I'd totally be smoking on a regular basis for my back and depression/anxiety problems like I used to (I trust it better than all the scripts I'm on now), but my current job tests.

Yeah weed's fine and everybody is realizing it now. I mean, as fine as you can get with a drug. This is becoming especially clear with how many States have it for medicinal use now and particularity Colorado and Washington state legalizing it altogether. Also the perception of it is that it turns people into lazy dopes and that can be true but it's known to also give a sort of "in the zone" focus to high level users. Ive experienced this when playing Mario Kart and shit but apparently it's very popular amongst Brazilian ju-jitsu guys and in the NBA apparently they had to repeal some anti weed rule because so many players would play high (dont quote me on that but think I heard it on a podcast). Obviously Im not saying wrestlers should all be getting high before preforming, they shouldn't, but to the people wondering why some would risk their pushes and the like "just for pot", maybe it's because they feel that it's something that helps them relax both physically and mentally and that theyre a free man of the world who wants to do something that is not hurting anyone else and to them it's worth the risk. As clearly a stoner myself I can see where theyre coming from, even though I can totally see the other side of the argument, like Kendrick losing his chance of lifetime over it, which does suck. I am someone though who goes into work high everyday and probably performs better like that first thing in the morning because all my life Ive been the most horrible morning person ever but with weed I actually feel ok.

I heard Kendrick got written up for weed 15 times, but he didn't give a shit because you don't get suspended, you just pay the fines. If I were a wrestler, I'd do it, no question. Better that than Alcohol or Pills or whatever guys do.
