Just like "back" must be referred to as "spine" when someone is hit there with a chair. Spine sounds worse. Yes, I'm aware of that. But the spine doesn't take up all of the back anyway.

Apparently the word "head" is banned, you have to say skull instead. This reminds me of a few weeks ago when someone had to get staples (Reigns?) and Cole said the guy had gotten staples to the skull. JBL jumped in and said "they didn't staple it to his skull, Maggle" and Cole tried to explain. I laughed so hard at that.

The commentary in WWE right now is pretty terrible, and I know that's not a knock on Michael Cole's skills but rather whoever it calling the shots in their ear piece. Why are certain phrases banned, or simply not used anymore? For example, I forget the last time I heard the term "pinned". It's always "knocked off" or "put away" Don't they realize how stupid this sounds? Why are the championships never called title belts? ("Because God damn it, a belt holds up your pants!" - VKM) A title shot is called a "championship opportunity", and if you forget that beating a champion in a non-title match, don't worry because Cole will remind us every single time, and it sounds more forced week after week. I know for a long time "wrestler/wrestling" was a taboo word, but that seems to have lightened up a bit. Are there any other terms they don't like us hearing? I swore JBL said "PIN HIM!!!" at some point in the last few weeks when someone had their opponent down, and they were playing to the crowd.
