Seriously, Del Rio is gone, Rey is probably gone or at least injured for a while. Why not just push Sin Cara? Hunico is a good worker and has not fell flat on his ass like the previous Sin Cara, kids know the Sin Cara character from the Scooby Doo movie and the Sin Cara masks sold well, I still see kids with them every so often. I just don't get why they don't just pick up where they left off, he would be perfect in a midcard role.

Sin Kalisto are going to be on wwe tv as a team, this is why they paired up cara and kalisto. To fast track kalisto and hunico can mentor him on the road

Classico Sin Cara ruined it for everybody. I see Kalisto being the next big Latino star.

Classico Sin Cara ruined it for everybody. I see Kalisto being the next big Latino star. But why punish Hunico for Mistico's screw ups? Why not just push HuniCara? It seems like a simple thing to do. Why can't both Sin Cara and Kalisto be pushed? Say what you will about WWE's treatment of black stars, but they never did regard "black wrestler" as a "role" or a "spot" that could only be filled by one guy. They never said "we need a new black guy to replace our current black guy" the way they seemingly do with Hispanic talents.

If anything giving him the position of Sin Cara is rewarding him. He was really only originally hired as a guy who Cara could work with since he was having so much trouble adapting to the WWE style.

It seems like they're punishing him in the sense that Mistico didn't live up to their expectations, so they jobbed the Sin Cara character out and even though they gave that gimmick to another wrestler, they still job him out and aren't pushing him anywhere near as hard as they planned to push Mistico in the role.

Ask me after next week's NXT Takeover. I think the live special with what I believe will be Caralisto winning the tag belts will see if they push Hunicara now.

He just happens to be the guy who's playing the role of a character that was ruined by it's first wrestler. I think that it is safe to assume that the jobber squashes that Cara is seen in are more than Hunico would have had without the character anyway.

Because Mistico was a legitimate draw, and amazing talent who just didn't live up to expectations. Hunico had none of the coming in besides being a solid hand in the ring. Also the guy's probably going to be a tag champ come next week. He's doing a lot better now than when he was hanging out on his bike.

He was in WWE long before Sin Cara and probably would have made the main roster with his team with Epico had Cara not been such a failure.

He's been tainted like pretty much everybody else in the midcard with the stigma of being a loser. Every time he's shown up on TV recently it's been to get squashed by Rusev. Either that or beat the comedy jobber, Sandow. It would be nearly impossible to get people behind him the way they were behind the original Sin Cara, at least for a time. He's not even selling nearly as much merchandise as the original had so there's also no real reason for them to do so either, not with so many other people they can potentially push.
I like Hunico, and he's had some pretty solid performances in that role, but he just doesn't have the charisma that his predecessor had.
My guess is if anybody is gonna get the Rey/Cara/Del Rio push, it'll be Kalisto once they bring him up.

Hunico's awesome, and he's probably got quite a bit of job security in that he is a perfect guy to work with NXT prospects and help them get seasoned.

They need to just let Hunico be Hunico. The whole Sin Cara gimmick won't get him much further than where he's at now.

I don't see them winning them, just because all signs point to the other two titles changing hands and I can't see a complete shake-up happening all in one night.

They need to just let Hunico be Hunico. The whole Sin Cara gimmick won't get him much further than where he's at now. I feel like he'd be fine as Sin Cara if they just stopped seemingly making him pay for Mistico's sins. But they should just let him wrestle the style he wrestled as Hunico instead of trying to emulate the original Sin Cara's style. Just let him keep the mask so that he can have a recognizable and unique "look".
