Greatest memory is when the doofus, in what was supposed to be his big monster-building moment, forgets to pin Kane at the end of their Taboo Tuesday(2004) match. Cue Snitsky awkwardly running back into the frame 15 seconds later.

I like Snitsky because he was willing to do whatever goofy stuff they wanted. He got that anything in wrestling has the potential to make money.
He had some impact, since we're still talking about him...hey, his debut is coming up on ten years!

I remember when Snitsky debuted, I honestly thought they brought him in to 'kill off' in a fit of rage by Kane after the miscarriage. I mean, they could have put literally anyone else in the Snitsky role. Gene was a complete and total unknown at the time. So I figured using a new guy would be easier to have Kane do something evil and sinister (and let's face it, WWE in 2004/2005 wasn't known for being family-friendly) and there be no blowback over the absence of that particular performer.

I wouldn't be surprised if they initially planned to, but I recall hearing that Stephanie kind of liked him in a "old school heel" kind of way, how there was nothing about him that was supposed to be cool or anything, he was just a big brute jerk. I guess they didn't want to throw him away right away.
