I was thinking about this earlier, I've had some pretty cool moments in wrestling games over the years & was wondering what some of yours where.
Mine include:
-Hearing theme music for the first time in a game in Royal Rumble on the SNES & turning my TV up really loud so my neighbour could hear Mr Perfect's theme
-Finally managing how to figure out how to do a finishing move on WCW/NWO Revenge & pulling off a Jacknife. Then spending all Christmas day doing every other wrestlers on the roster's finisher move
- On FPR on the GBA I was throwing Rey around with Vader, ripping through him & about to hit the Vader PowerBomb. Hoisted him up & he reversed it with a hurricanrana CRITICAL 1-2-3 Awesome!
- In DOR2 in the story mode when you tag with RVD against Kenzo & Renee Dupree. As RVD I'd built up a finisher, in the opponent's corner they went for a corner double team move, Kenzo hadn't even been in the match yet. RVD reversed it, coconutted their heads together, jumped up top & nailed the 5 Star on Kenzo for the win. Awesome considering he'd been hit with one move
- Shawn Michaels vs the Undertaker on WWE '13 in one of my first matches, having a great match as Michaels. I pulled off the full Comeback for the first time, climbed the ropes for the Sig elbow, Taker caught me & Tombstoned me then I kicked out. Awesome sequence!
All moments that stick out to me in games, be cool to hear others!

I still remember quite vividly a time I was having a sleepover with a friend, and in one of the PS2 Smackdown games, we'd figured out a way to climb on top of two tables stacked in the middle of the ring. We were standing atop the tables taunting as our CPU opponents fell over and failed to attack us. A simple thing, but we were in stitches.

Pretty much anytime my friends and I play a TLC match in WWE '13, especially when I pick a monster like Vader or Brock Lesnar and just start throwing dudes off ladders and through tables.

Seeing the Hardys and Lita's trio entrance when I got SmackDown JBI on Christmas Day was awesome!! After wrestlers made their entrances behind entrance videos in the first two SmackDown games, and the more rigid motions of WM2000 and No Mercy, it was really cool to see. Of course, it was 2001 and it has certainly aged since!!

Pretty much my favorite moment in wrestling game history is when I booted up my first Fire Pro game. It was Fire Pro Wrestling S, and I went out to buy a Saturn just so that I could play it. I already had the translated manual printed off and in a binder and my spiral notebook and pen ready to track results. After looking through the roster and simming the first match, I knew it was all worth it.

My friend and I were playing a tornado tag match against Doink the Clown and 1-2-3 Kid in WWF Monday Night Raw for Super Nintendo. I was Diesel and my friend was Yokozuna. After eliminating the kid, the two of us destroyed Doink for like 30 minutes. When we decided to end it, I jack-knifed Doink and my friend couldn't have timed it more perfectly...seemingly right when Doink's back hit the ring, Yokozuna went up and DOWN for the Banzai Splash! It was amazing and we were laughing and high fiving over it for hours!!
My brother and I were huge Undertaker fans (and still are). As we were playing Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, we created two wrestlers who were completely based around being friends/minions to classic Undertaker. We formed a tag team/stable and were playing through when...during an interview classic Undertaker randomly attacked one of the wrestlers that was getting in our face! It was so perfect, we didn't alter the game in any way...by just random chance, the AI chose classic Undertaker to be the one to help us, and our little story line we played in our heads played out nearly perfectly in the game as well!!
I have to admit, in the newer WWE: "Insert year here" games, I really went crazy the first time I ever power bombed someone off the top of the hell in a cell.

The final match on the WWE 12 story mode was handled so well, had a couple of mark out moments.

I was going out with some buddies, we decided to pregame a bit, chill at my friends place, and play some WWE 12, and we were doing the Royal Rumble. One of my friends was playing as Cena, and essentially being a irl chickenshit heel. He'd run from all the challengers, form partnerships and then dump them, barely escape elimination, and talk shit the whole time. He entered early on, and somehow lasted until the end. After guy #30 came in (one of my friends), we all stopped for a second and realized the scenario. It was all of us, and just him, John Cena, who had screwed over everyone, standing against us. He tried to form an alliance with someone to save his hide, but we dumped his ass out of the ring. We all marked, except for the guy playing Cena.
This wasn't me playing, but an E-Fed (SMF) thats biggest show of the year featured T-1000 (dominant heel, trying to kill SMF) against the Green Ranger (really an exiled Matt Hardy, everyone knew it was him but he still dressed as the Ranger). In a Hell in the Cell, for the SMF Title, and if the T-1000 won, SMF would die. Sure, it was an E-Fed, but it was such a badass buildup and match, and the end (won't spoil it, you can watch it on Youtube) might be my favorite internet wrestling moment ever. That includes here, everywhere. It was just beautiful. For two random guys in college who made wrestling vids for shits and giggles, it was pretty f***ing poignant.

Whichever game it was you could climb the Smackdown! fist. I was RVD vs. Goldust, Falls Count Anywhere. I knocked him down. Climbed the fist, 5 star frog splash off the fist, when I hit, the game bugged out, making it look like I splash him through the ramp...1-2-3.
Tried to make it happen all the time after that, never happened again.

Whoa let me think... Learning that in WCW vs nWo world tour you need to flick the stick in order to hit the special move, before that I could only win with the Kevin Nash super punch...flair had the worst finisher. In Smackdown 2 having the greatest match of my life against Austin in hard mode, I was the Undertaker, he kicked out of my power moves, countered the Last Ride and hit the stunner, even though I lost, I'm still happy about the match. In Shut your Mouth just being able to walk around msg. In Here Comes The Pain the angle where you face Vince for the control of the wwe, and the smooth countering system. In SVR Rene Dupree's voice caption and the clothesline from hell. In SVR 06, the Eugene storyline. In SVR 07...it wasn't that good In SVR 08 unlocking Sabu. SVR 09 was my last game and it sucked for the wii
Oh yeah hitting the doomsday device in the thq games, playing as Jeff Jarrett in WM 2000 (stroke, guitar, strut). Thanks dude, you've brought back good memories.

Totally with you on that! Took me hours to figure out the toggle analogue stick thing. My fist THQ N64 game was Revenge though as my bro got an N64 that Christmas

The first time I played WCW/nWo Revenge i wasn't even a wrestling fan. I'd only watched it a handful of times as a kid. I didn't realize I had to use the arrow buttons instead of the control stick.
I played through the whole season mode doing nothing but taunting.

I liked how random "critical hit" style knockouts could happen in N64 AKI games. I remember having a match where Test ran up to me, I gave him a Big Boot, and he just collapsed, unconscious, so I pinned him after one move.

Smackdown: HcTP. Me and my nephew where having a hardcore match, I'm Benoit, he's Nash.
I jump off the Titantron, hit him with the Headbutt, but he somehow recovers then he pins me. We laughed about that for good few minutes

In my Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 GM Mode League(before I lost interest...), I had a battle royal on the Super Smackdown prior to Backlash. I don't play these matches, I watch them and post the results. Well, it was Cena, Doug Basham, Booker T, Benoit, Edge, and Heidenreich. First of all, the "everybody hates Cena" story that came about thanks to the game's awful AI was in full effect, as in the middle of attempting to dump Heidenreich, Basham suddenly turns on Cena and helps Heidenreich eliminate him. Then, Heidenreich went on to win the whole match. Following week, Heidenreich beats Eddie Guerrero to earn a shot at Stone Cold for the WHC. Also, Hurricane lucking his way into two title matches, by virtue of wins by DQ. His only wins, btw.
I also had a ton of fun with 2007's GM Mode. Unlike 06, you don't need to add the Legends to make it fun. I had a great time just using the main roster guys, giving Rey a year-long Cruiserweight title run, booking a 3-way feud between DX, MNM, and The Brothers of Destruction, and making Mickie James a main event babyface slut by pairing her with whichever face was main eventing that month.

I've had so many over the years. Fire Pro Returns and Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 have provided the most mark-out moments. I find simming to be more enjoyable than actually playing the matches. I remember an especially kick-ass simmed tag match between the Miracle Violence Connection and Vader/Hansen. It was nearly fifty minutes (game time) of four hosses throwing bombs and refusing to die. Powerbombs, backdrop drivers, manly lariats, double-team moves, and all other sorts of destruction came into play. In the end, Hansen went for a Western Lariat, but Dr. Death side-stepped him and murdered him dead with a nasty backdrop driver. I also love the feeling of achievement when an edit plays in simmed matches exactly as I had intended.

Fire Pro Advanced 2 - I did a computer vs. computer match with Sting and Triple H. They went 84 minutes, ending with Trips tapping to the Scorpion Deathlock. It was an awesome match, simulated on a GBA or not.
Fire Pro Returns - Petey Williams (me) vs. Rampage Jackson (computer) in the octagon. He was thoroughly beating my ass. So in a final act of desperation, I hit the Canadian Destroyer. Rampage just stood there in a daze, and the crowd went silent. I hit it again, and the match immediately ended. I won via knockout.
WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 - Abyss vs. Sabu, Hell in a Cell. The wife and I routinely call spots when we play WWEgames, and this was no exception. We did every spot imaginable, from a Black Hole Slam through the cage to Sabu botching multiple times. (At one point, he jumped off the cell, landing on the announce table. Abyss was still on the cell.)

Beating Jeff Jarrett on my fifteenth attempt in TNA Impact, which was followed by me breaking the game into a million pieces with a hammer.

While playing No Mercy I was getting my ass kicked by HHH while playing as Austin, I somehow caught a kick, spun him around and hit a Stunner for a KO win.
