Well, if there is going to be a third one, I hope that it will just settle it with the series being a trilogy. Personally, I thought the point of the credits sequence in 22 Jump Street was to show how ridiculous it would be to milk the series with sequel after sequel. It was a funny joke, though.
I will still see it.

If Lord and Miller are going to direct I'm excited. If not I'll be very skeptical. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are one of the best directors/writers in Hollywood right now and they are currently the kings of comedy and animation at the moment. Everything they have touched has been gold so far. Not one single bust yet

I couldn't be more on board with this! I thought the first one was good, but the second one made me laugh harder than I've laughed at a movie in years.
So long as they keep the same people on-screen and behind the scenes, I'm in.
