JBL got knocked out by Joey Styles, and roundhouse kicked by Steve Blackman in an airport. He never got KO'd by Styles. Damn story has grown to this but it was never Styles KO'ing JBL. Styles swung and JBL fell on his ass but what people always forget or leave out is that Styles ran and hid while the wrestlers held JBL back. It was a lucky shot which even Joey has admitted. Yeah it was on a trip to Iraq, JBL was drunk as f***, I always wondered why no one from the wwe made fun of JBL because of this, guess you're absolutely right, Joey got lucky, if it was a legit K.O, we would've heard countless stories from shoot interviews since then.
The Steve Blackman kicked I think it got corroborated, it was in the baggage claim at the airport, I'm not sure. The only time I've ever heard of JBL besting somebody was Michael Hayes at the Plane Ride from Hell trip, and either Brian Christopher or Duke Droese, whom he threaten to rape in the shower after it was discovered that he put roofies on girls drinks or something. Raven claims it was Brian, and Brian went "Guys don't do that to guys!"

He was also described as a cool guy, I'll always appreciate him for trying to defend wrestling during the Benoit deal by appearing on interviews and trying to talk sense while failures like Marc Mero kept interrupting him. Ken Shamrock was good buddies with him, he once told a story about how cheap Steve was, apparently despite the fact that Blackman was making good money, while traveling he preferred to stay at 20 bucks a night motels.

Didn't Paul Orndorff beat up Vader while wearing flip flops in wcw? That's another story that has so many different versions. The basic consensus is that Orndorff punched Vader and Vader went down, but how much of a "fight" was it? Dunno.

They weren't even together anymore when she started dating Batista. They've all told this story; I'm not even sure where that rumor started. About Jericho/Goldberg: did Goldberg actually get choked out? What I read was that Jericho put him in a face-lock and didn't let go, and it got broken up pretty quickly. If his grip is tight, how else is Goldberg to get out besides punching the guy? It's still funny because of the size difference, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. One Goldberg fight I've heard of was him and Scott Norton, where Norton got the better of him following a disagreement they had on a 1-on-1 match (and Norton allegedly quit/was fired after that fight). I've never seen anything that verifies the story, though. Does anyone have any info on this, or was it just an urban legend? Actually I think Jericho told him to calm down and let him go, but Goldberg came at him again and Jericho put him in a guillotine again... Really Norton? Yeah he's tough as nails, but I've never heard the story. I think Regal could've stretched Goldberg during their match, but was too much of a pro, Goldberg claimed that Regal tried to take advantage of him, but Regal said to Bischoff that it was like simple holds and that any trained wrestler could follow the sequence.
Regal mentioned that on the Steve Austin podcast. If I can remember the quote correctly he told Bischoff 'well I can't hit myself'.

Shawn Michaels making Vader cry. Vader begging Shamrock to stop being so stiff. The same Vader who got his eye punched out by Hansen and just shoved it back in to continue the match? I want to hear more details.

I want to hear more details. Well Shawn did hurt him emotionally and Ken Shamrock was still in UFC mode (despite having professional wrestled before). I dunno these aren't "rumors" these actually happened during matches. Matches you can google btw.

I want to hear more details. Well actually he and shamrock had another match in japan, a cage match I think not sure if it was in FMW though, and Vader stiffed him back, Vader is like Bob Holly he's stiff and expects you to be stiff in return. The only time Vader lost face, was when Orndorff knocked him out, while wearing flip flops lol Oh and yes he cried but only because HBK threatend to have him fired, Vader knew he couldn't hit Shawn or risk getting fired, Cornette confirmed it saying that Vader is actually a good guy a giant Teddy Bear.

I remember hearing a story that Steve Austin is also cheap like that, in that Rick Rude was lambasting him for going to Motel Sixes while he and Paul Heyman were going to the Marriott.

Jake Roberts I heard was never a fighter. I forgot who told the story but Jake was challenged at a bar and he was a champion at that point. They step outside for awhile and another wrestler goes to check on it. Jakes outside begging not to fight. The wrestler that went out to check on him punched out the local guy and tore Jake apart for not protecting the buisness.

Yeah the story was from Bret's book (man to me that book is the best wrestling book ever, but we can discuss that later), Bret saved Jake's ass that time because if Stu would've Heard about it, not protecting the business, Jake would've been fired. I think Bret had a soft spot for Jake because he was such a tremendous worker and draw money for his dad.

I remember Kevin Nash saying in a shoot that he punched out Roddy Piper backstage in WCW and was suprised how easily he went down because he always thought he was a badass.

I remember Kevin Nash saying in a shoot that he punched out Roddy Piper backstage in WCW and was suprised how easily he went down because he always thought he was a badass. Yeah Piper had that reputation for years, allegedly it was the reason why he got away with never losing during the 80s in the WWF, regarding their fight, Piper admits on his podcast that Nash hurt him with the punch but Piper went for a double leg takedown and couldn't take Nash down because they were against a wall, according to Sean Waltman, Nash owned Piper, but then again Xpac isn't the most objective source because they're close friends. But Yeah, I think Piper's reputation exceeded his toughness.

According to both Dynamite Kid and Bret Hart, Dynamite either yelled at (his own version) or slapped (Hart's version) the Honky Tonk Man for disrespecting Harley Race; afterwords Honky cried and begged Dynamite for forgiveness.

I don't have any problem believing that. Didn't Honky Tonk allegedly go to Vince and tell him that he didn't want to take the Superfly splash anymore because it hurt too much?

Bret Hart confirmed the Honky crying story, I believe anything Bret says as truth, man in his book he not only exposed a lot of people, he even admitted to cheating his wife multiple times, doing steroids, cocaine...

I want to hear more details. Vader was in the midst of his title push in WWE at the time. Shawn Michaels was a total douche at the time. He didn't want to work with Vader because he was known for working stiff. HBK told Vader that if he worked stiff in any of their matches he would complain to Vince and get him fired. Vader was so upset he wept while telling Jim Cornette about it.
